Where to get veils?

Hi All,

I don't want to spend a ton on my veil (under $100 if possible), but I'd like to buy it in person rather than online if possible because I want to see the color rather than buying and returning a bunch until I happen to find the right one. I don't want anything elaborate - just a single layer, fingertip length, ivory veil. Does anyone know what stores in Northern NJ have some decently priced veils? I wasn't a fan of David's but I'd love to hear other options!

Thanks!

  • I know you're looking for 'in real life' but I ordered my veil from Etsy - the seller sent samples of the different color fabrics before we ordered so we could compare them to my dress and choose the right color. It was definitely less expensive than in most stores and beautiful. HTH!

  • I would try I do, I do in Morristown.  Not sure how expensive they are but they have a ton of accessories.
  • Headpiece.com in Pompton Plains has a ton
  • Thanks! These all look like good options!
  • I got my veil from Frills in Matawan, NJ. It's this sweet woman named Mary who really loves the whole bridal thing. She has a consulation with you and shows you pictures and has you try on different lengths and shapes of veils. She does everything by hand and customizes it to your dress. She even went out of her way to stop by the bridal store I got my dress at to see the sample in person. I bought a lot from her...a cathedral length veil with heavy amount of lace, as well as a seperate fingertip veil to use as a blusher/to keep on during the reception. I also got a HUGE crystal hair comb that covers half of my head and a handmade garter and all of it together was $500. I'm not sure how much just the fingertip veil was alone. But if all of it together was $500, I'm guessing it should be in your price range. Good luck!

  • I actually got my veil from Alfred Angelo.  It's all the way in Cherry Hill but it might be worth it.
