I agree that it's not necessarily an age thing. I have friends in their late 20s who threw a FIT because they got into a car accident, and their insurance didn't "give" then enough money to pay off the wrecked car AND buy a new used car. Idiots.
Ugh...really? He is a murderer! None of this has to do with his age. I'm sorry but how about you just dislike him because of his own personal flaws? Most people I know under 25 or who are teenagers or young adults are good people. Are there entitled crappy people out there? yes. But they are going to be like that probably for the rest of their lives, their age has nothing to with it.
    Posted by bethsmiles
Oh, believe me, I dislike him for his personal flaws plenty. Frankly, I'm thankful they caught him now and not ten years down the line when he's had the opportunity to do this to other girls.

As I stated earlier, I'm summarizing that most the young adults that I personally encounter nowadays are entitled brats. But, then again, I've spent the last five years living in a part of the country where the prevalent theme is that money rules, mom and dad take care of everything, status means everything, and you're not somebody unless you own the right things and have the right bank balance. Hell, we were just hosting the Jersey Shore kids for a while there (::vomit::). I'm self-admittedly incredibly biased in this department. I'm not saying all young adults are brats - there are some awesome young(er) posters on here that are smart and levelheaded. My sister is 23 and she's probably more level-headed than most people in their 30s. The mature and level-headed young adults I do come across in my life are like a breath of fresh air.

The phrase wasn't meant to be taken quite as literally as some peeps are taking it. It's like saying I saw a car wreck on the side of the road and there were like, a million cop cars there. Obviously, there aren't a million cop cars there. Obviously, I don't actually dislike 90% of people in a certain age bracket.

Anyways, back to this arsehole...the Chilean government is apparently now investigating the cases of two young women who disappeared from casinos while he was playing poker there. Scary scary scary...

I've actually been thought to be about 40 on a message board before.

I think that's a stretch. I just get really obscure references.

The real problem, IMO, is that parents want their kids to have fun and have a more comfortable life than they had. They don't THINK about the fact that challenges build character, and they make things TOO easy for their kids. The kids then grow up to be twatwaffles. Who go on to raise even more twatwaffles. The twatwaffles and idiots of the world are out-breeding the intelligent people in the world.

Yes, it's definitely a pattern of entitlement down here. In addition to believing they are entitled to unlimited amounts of money, huge gas guzzling cars, parking diagonally in two parking spaces in every parking lot, fake boobs and a perfect body at any cost, people feel they're entitled to drive completely stupidly and everyone should get out of their way - I've come to a point where I don't just believe they should have their licenses revoked (if they even have one) but should be lined up and tazered as punishment for their stupidity.

Also, I kind of hate the way women are viewed down here, but that's a whole other issue. Women as possessions of men... boys can cheat on their girlfriends (and do, frequently), but women are sluts if they want to move out of their parents house before they're married.

      Okay, rant over.
