Last few things---advice??

Wow, I haven't been on for a while, but this board is slow!  Hopefully I can get a few suggestions...

We still need a cake.  I've seen a few ideas - anyone have something that just blew them away?

Also need shoes - any suggestions for great bargains, websites, etc.?

FInally, we need transportation.  I'm really hoping to rent a cool old car, classic convertible, etc. but have no idea where to begin.

TIA - hope everyone is staying warm!

    We are using Indulgent Moments for our cake, and their cake is phenomonal!!! I seriously have never tasted a cake that good before!! I highly recommend them and Kristin is super nice to work with :)

    As for shoes I don't know, but my sister talks about DSW out by jordan creek all the time and how great their shoes and prices are there so maybe check that out?

    I don't have any help for the car though. sry!  HTH

    We got our cake from Indulgent Moments in Altoona, too, and I agree that it's hands-down the best cake I've ever had.  We got tons of compliments on the cake, and even though we ordered about 40 more servings of cake than guests, we had only some 10 or 15 slices left over.  I think that says a lot about what everyone thought of the cake.  :-) 

    I got my shoes from Dance Shoes Online.  I'm not one to wear heels often, but I wanted to for the wedding day.  I had heard that dance shoes are the way to go for comfort, and I couldn't agree more - I wore my shoes for over 12 hours, was on my feet most of that time, and my feet didn't hurt at all.  It was awesome.

    I second DSW for shoes...they have tons of shoes in every color you could want.

    For cake, I'm considering Cake Me I'm Yours in Perry, but I haven't tried their cakes yet. I'm also going to look into Indulgent Moments and a few others I've heard good things about on here - can't think of those off the top of my head though. Here's the site for the one in Perry:  www.cakemeimyours.com/  (this crashed my Firefox last time, and I had to use Internet Explorer to view it. MIght just be my computer though).

    For shoes, I just bought some on Shoebuy.com. If you go through Bing.com shopping, you can get cashback at Shoebuy and other shoe stores online, and several of them have free shipping & returns. Also, Shoebuy had a 20% deal, which I think has expired, but they often do deals like that.

    I am getting my cake from Glorious Desserts and it is awesome!  I purchased my shoes at the Bridal Boutique in Perry, I'm not a big fan of heels but these are high but really comfy!
