dress fixation need some help girls

Hi everyone,
So I went to a bridal salon today and since that salon never asked me about budget  I tried on and loved a soft pink Anjolique bridal gown.way out of the budget, which is like 500 bucks. What I liked most about the dress was the pink with my skin, and the sleek trumpet shape. Anyone know of a wedding gown that is a pink mermaid in the 500 dollar neighborhood?
thanks Ladies!

  • If you have a small budget you should definitely volunteer that info, not wait to be asked!

Maggie Sotteros often come in different colors- I can think of a light gold modified mermaid (Hunter) for about that,  and a dark gold trumpet (Allison Marie). But you have to stay away from the massively beaded/sparkly/lacy Maggies- most will be over your budget. I know they HAVE pink dresses (Rasharna's pink, but I think it's discontinued) but it's not my color so I can't rememeber... GL

  • My FSIL introduced me to a private business that can get anything from invitations to dresses at a discount.  This saved me over $300 on my Pronovias dress.  Hopefully you can find something like that in your area.  The one I used is www.anythingbridal.com

Mia Solano M1089Z   I have seen this in blush pink (I think)  with darker bow-  for 550.

I do not know if that was regular price or sale -  My cousin was looking at dresses $400- $600, wanted sheath or mermaid.

Also in the same soft light pink was one for 700- that she said was being discontinued, and shortly after Christmas would be  "Under $600."
I looked on Mia Solano Website, and it is gone.  Stores usually take orders for up to 90 days after the discontinue date, and then sell off only what is in stock.  If you look in a store that carries the line, the dress may be at clearance prices.   Or may be e Bay, other.

Mori Lee makes some pretty trumpet style dresses in your price range,  but I think only whites and ivory.  Still, if you give up on pink -  this one is pretty  On- though it looked loke nothing on a hanger, so simple I guess- was 475 where we shopped -

    Others in your price range

Wedding Shoppe  is the on-line branch of a real bricks and mortar store- their prices on the website seem to be 10-15% lower than a shop,  unless on sale,  so use the prices for reference knowing that.

None of Maggie Sottero's pink shade dresses are mermaid or sheath styles, nor are Alfred Angelo's.

After all that, she got a pale gold Maggie Sottero sheath - friendlier to her skin tone than white.
  • Thanks so much! this is great. The pink seems to be non negotable, I was going to get married in red to begin with! but hated it on me. I tried on white and ivory and felt like it washed me out, the pink color seemed to really give me some tone to my excesively pale ( I do not tan ever ) olive skin. I might call around about the solanos. I tried on some gold dresses too and they were lovely but almost too close to my skin tone, I have alot of yellow.
