I bought the dress at David's, but thanks to some recommendations here, I am having my alterations done at Bridal Belles in Berlin. They really seem to know what they are doing!! Very excited to go back on 9/20 to try it again!
Gotta love that my Mom is awful at taking pictures - she was sitting and talking to me, so I was talking/smiling through the pics. UGH. So don't mind my funny faces!
Anyway, the dress MOSTLY fits like a glove! The hem doesn't need any work - if anything the seamstress said its a bit short, but once all pressed out and the skirt underneath settles a bit, the length will be just fine. I don't want to be tripping on it anyway! She needs to take it in in front of my hips a bit - there were a couple of bulges...otherwise, just the bustle for now! If I lose any weight, she'll take it in further two weeks prior to the wedding.
The bustle is a bit messy in this pic, but we ended up bringing it up just a bit more...I'll be dancing all night and do not want it dragging behind me!
The sash was just tied on quickly - I changed up the color - it was soft white like the dress, but the new one is champagne. Need to figure out the best way to tie it still. All in all, very happy!
