LTB, it's a super easy one, just butter, flour, salt and some baking powder, I think. I'll have to look up the exact proportions when I get home. I was stunned at how easily it came together. I kept thinking, "this is going to turn out terrible", and then it didn't.

Morning ladies! I hate when there's a million posts in the good morning thread before I get to work...I can't process that much information before my coffee.

I DO know that I didn't understand a thing Opal said, but it makes me kind of have a nerd-girl crush on her now.

And I saw the words pie and crisp and I would want an apple crumb pie.

And NOTHING shipped from Netflix yesterday which is a TOTAL ripoff.

GOOD MORNING my favorite ladies! I'm at work this morning which feels so weird. Mr Stack's sister is taking J to school today and I feel all weird about it......BUT - I do have the afternoon off to take her to her 3 year old check up appt, so I guess you get the good with the bad some times.

Math is cool b/c it never changes, you can always count on 2+2 to equal 4. I'm a sucker for predictability. Opal is the E board genius.........just sayin.

Oh, nothing earth shattering, just annoying. He's become obsessed with his Xbox. 2 nights ago, he played it from the time I got home until I went to bed. He had paused it to go to the batrhoom and when he got back, I wanted to show him this SNL skit I knew he'd love. So he sits down and grabs the controller and just holds it. For some reason, it pissed me off. I was ready for bed anyway, so I just went. He comes to bed like 2 hours later.

I have this thing where I don't care one bit if he doesn't come to bed with me (I need more sleep than he does), but if he's not in bed by the time I wake up to go to the batrhoom, I get irrationally angry.

I talked to him yesterday about it and he promised we'd make dinner together and he wouldn't play the game at all. He also promised he wouldn't come to bed 2 hours later (I asked right before I went to bed). And yet I wake up almost 3 hours later and he's still up. So we fought about it this mornning.

And that's when I decided that mathematicians are all high, and that I need to stick to engineering, where 2+2 always does equal 4.

Good morning! today is my Friday!! YAY! Then tomorrow I'm driving home to Charleston for the weekend. It's going to be an all too brief visit, and I suspect I'll feel MORE homesick after, but I'm still really excited. Today I'm recovering from what I suspect is a case of food poisoning. Fish, It's the new Madden. I don't fuuckign get it. He says it's his first season and he's 'recruiting'. All I can see is that he's blowing every single team out by like 150 points. Thats not a football game, that's....dumb.

Sclams, I thought of stealing the game ;/ But my thought is if he doesn't want to spend time with me, that's his deal and I need to figure out how to not get upset about it.

And to clarify, this morning I was upset that he promised me something and then still went back on it.

Because, in theory, 2 can represent any value between 1.50 and 2.49999 (since any of those values you would round to 2). But if you add 2.499 and 2.499, you would be closer to 5 than 4 and round up to 5.
Definitely just learned that in my cs class a few weeks ago. :)

Good morning! It's raining like there's no tomorrow outside and my car stereo has taken on a whole new level of suckage and not receiving radio signal. I'm happy it's Thursday though because that means tomorrow I get to go to New York to visit my sister! Yipee!

louisville - I dated a guy that was the exact way! Only he was still playing when I woke up at 6am! I tried taking the cords away but that just makes a bigger fight. If it gets to the point where you're stripping in front of him and he's peeking around you to see the tv screen than you have a problem lol otherwise GL and I hope his madden fever subsides soon

LVB, what are you doing while he's playing video games? My H plays his playstation a lot too, but come a certain time, or if I'm getting bored, I just say "hey alright, quit playing now and let's watch a movie" or "I'm bored, stop playing that". Then he'll finish his game if he's in the middle of one, and we do something else. If you just mess around on the Knot or something and don't say anything, he'll think you're fine and won't quit. You have to tell him "okay it's time to stop, I'm bored". At least I do anyway.
