Well, my apologies for mis-reading the sad/pathetic statement.

However, what was "harsh" about that? It's still rude of you to call people "sad" if they don't have people helping them plan their wedding. I didn't WANT anyone's help to plan my wedding. I'm an adult and I'm not brain-dead ... it's really not that hard to plan a wedding ceremony and a party. If it's hard or stressful, then it's your* own fault. A wedding can be as simple as a courthouse ceremony, and then a piece of cake for anyone who happened to be there. Or just an elopement with two people. Or it can be a million-dollar, blowout bash for 400 people. But if you require any help to get it done, then it's of your own doing, and I just simply don't feel bad for those types of people because they brought it on themselves.

If you dont need any form of support why are you on this website? Also a wedding IMO is not just about the party as it may be for you

You don't get it. It's NOT sad. Not everyone wants help planning their wedding and there's nothing wrong with that. I'm planning ours with FI, we prefer to do it that way. It's really not that hard. If someone needs help then that's on them to find it. No one is required.
