did everyone file their taxes? if you're getting a return, do you have plans for the money or just throwing it in savings/e-fund?

    We got our refund back in Feb, along with my work bonus, and payout from my grandmother's estate.  We cleared a huge chunk of debt and paid off some bills with the money.

    Barbie - That would fly at my office.  Or with the SEC.

    DG - Call them.  They probably have you in the extension list but if they can't tell you one way or the other then you need to get yourself over to turbo tax and never use those accountants again.

    Ugh....we owed. A LOT. I had a panic attack yesterday when I put the checks in the mail. I've never written a check that large and not walked away with real estate holdings or a motor vehicle.

    The nice lady at H&R Block told us how much to deduct from now on, so as never to be in this position again ::glares at husband::

    We usually aim to break even, but H did a lot of work on the side so we started putting money aside in the instance that we would get a 1099, which we didn't.

    I got a refund. It will be going towards our bathroom remodel & into savings for the wedding.
