Hey ladies! Get any wedding stuff accomplished this past week? What's planned for this week?

I celebrated hitting the one year mark on Friday by making two dress shopping appointments. They aren't until July, but I'm still really excited. That's about it. Nothing really planned coming up.

I am going dress shopping Saturday!! so excited and nervous. We also have a meeting with a DJ set up in a couple weeks.

	Hobby Lobby has all their His&Her wedding things 50% of this week. I bought our guest book, guest book pen, save the date cards, and the place cards. I also started to look into table and chair covering

I asked my oldest friend (we were born 16 days apart and grew up next door to each other) to be one of my bridesmaids this past weekend. I was nervous about asking because she's already in two other weddings next summer, and we've had our ups and downs over the last 28 years. However, when I asked her on Saturday, she started crying and told me she'd be honored to be in our wedding. Her husband is my fiance's best friend and they introduced us, so if it wasn't for staying friends with her so long, I would not be planning a wedding right now.

I also finalized our save the date design (I think), but my work computer won't let me upload it on here.

Tlanute, FYI, I believe Hobby Lobby alternates their sales every week....so their wedding stuff should be on sale again two weeks from now in case there's anything else you need to pick up.

I confirmed my baker yesterday and I should be getting my save the date designs back at the beginning of next week. We also reserved our hotel block!

On an off the topic note, I am going crazy packing our house because we are moving next week. I hate moving!

I'm talking to our DJ to see if he can recommend a musician for our ceremony/cocktail hour. We are hoping to meet with at least 2, in different price ranges, just to see if we are OK with a more affordable one or if we should "splurge" and get a more expensive but more experienced one.

I have taken a break in the planning. I had so much to do for my best friends wedding that I put mine on hold. Her wedding is over now so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things! I think the only thing I have actually done recently is scheduled a time for my MOHs and BMs to go dress shopping.

I am going on Friday to a bridal shop to finalize my dress hopefully! It is between 2 dresses so now I just have to make that final decision. I also made two florist appt for Friday. My parents are coming into town that day so I figured we could accomplish some things. I just bought my fiances wedding ring today! And was out shopping for ideas for bridesmaids gifts. I am in the mood to get stuff done!!

mrsk- I am going to check out that videographer link. FI was absolutely deadset against having one, but I really wanted one. We went to a wedding this weekend (grosse pointe yacht club..it was crazy but so beautiful) and a newlywed couple was at our table and the guy pretty much talked FI into getting one! So now we are starting to look at websites, I am so excited that he has changed his mind "for the right price" lol.

I booked our photographer and we locked in FI cousin to be the officiant. So happy that's checked off my list. We started looking at invitations and save the dates and my BP and I are going to look for their dresses when I get back from Oregon in the beginning of July. Plus I get to dress shopping with my mom when we get to Colorado in two weeks. This week is going to be spent planning my FI's "good luck at Olympic tryouts" party which he thinks is an engagement party that my sister is throwing. He's even been talking about getting gifts lol. He's gonna be so surprised!

I did some little things, like go through tons of pictures to gather some that i want for our photo montage that will be playing the whole night. (We want to try to get everyone at the wedding in a least one picture in the mntage.) And then I found a cure idea on pinterest that I think I am going to steal so I started working on that too: We are going to have double picture frames for our table numbers, and then each table is going to have a picture corresponding to an age. So for table 1, there will be a picture of me at 1 and of FI at 1, then at table 2 a pic of me at 2 and FI at 2, etc. So I started to gather up my age pictures, which took some time because some weren;t dated do I had to do some detctive work to figure it out, lol. Fun going through old pics though.

We're basically taking a break from planning for now. We have all of the major things booked and deposits down. We have a tasting scheduled for next Saturday but other than finalizing catering we'll probably do a whole lot of nothing wedding related until the save the dates in September.

Well, I got all 497 pics from my photog! WOW haha. I made a photobook out of it using a fathers day deal soooo I am excited!

Also the boots I am wearing for the wedding reception, that I ordered in February JUST got shipped! SO there is progress :-)

I have that pinned to my wedding board, too! I'm not sure if that's what we'll go with in the end, but it's definitely on top of our list!
