Has anyone had or found any photographers that they love & that are reasonably priced? I've been looking, but any that I like are just so expensive. I want a quality photographer, but I need something a little more affordable than $3000 just for their basic/starting.

    We are using Chad Bosma. He is $1500 for all day and you get a CD with all your photos and release to print them. If you get married Jan-Apr. he offers a discount. I was so glad we found him. Like you said, so many are nearly twice the price and that was just for like 4 hours and you didn't get your photos unless you paid for them too. I think Chad's work is just as nice as those higher priced ones.

    We used Judson Miller. He was reasonably priced and has a great eye. He's in Kzoo but I'm sure he'd travel up to GR if that's where you are.

    We are using Davyn Photography.  For $1500 we got 10 hours of coverage, with 1 photographer (but if they don't have another wedding booked that day, we get 2 photographers), a leatherbound photo book, cd with rights to the pictures, engagement shoot, and they are a really fun couple!

    I found them by attending a Bridal Expo in GR a couple weeks ago.  I ignored everybody there except I spoke with EVERY photographer.  It helped me find the right mix of work I liked and price.  Plus, they were all running specials if you signed up within days of the expo. 

    There is another bridal expo this weekend.  Usually, they are overwhelming and kind of a waste of time, but if you are still looking for vendors they are really helpful.

    Great work at a very affordable price.  The wedding package is $950 and that includes everything and the disk!!  Also she will come the the rehearsal:)

    Check out Huisman Photography! Their most expensive package is $1,200, and the price goes down from there. That package includes engagement photos, 2 photographers for the whole day (no time limit), an AWESOME digital album, several prints, and all of the digital files of every edited picture!     Her wedding package is $900.00 and includes a disc of all images and print release. We just had our engagement pictures done by her as a trial run and we've had so many compliments. She also has a great personality should be fun to have around on our wedding day.
