[QUOTE]He has too much of a "cute girl nose", not very masculine at all.  And the squinty eyes bother me.

I have a friend who has the exact same nose as him. It looks super cute on her, not so much on him. Its sort of flat, square and stubby at the end.
  • Beatles - Thank you very much!! But I was not an elf. He had two elves and Mrs. Claus with him and I was dressed in civilian gear.

Nebb - I did not!! PICS PLEASE! I just ate a cookie and I'm in the mood to see more.

Oh and as of today I have another bridesmaid!! One of my other girls booked her trip! She was so happy to stand up with me at the wedding that she cried. I've had such an wonderful/emo kind of day.

[QUOTE]haha nebb when i was in 6th grade i was obsessed with hanson and i think i turned out semi-ok. i like taylor lautner in the whole "my body is ridiculous" way. it has been very dead around here. i wanted to start some kind of thread, but i have nothing of interest to discuss.

Sorry!! Imissed your post. None of us usually have anything of "interest" to post, we just post random crap. Just jump in and post things!!

Hell...I just posted about taylor lautner! If thats not random I dunno what is!
  • He's got a nose like mine.  That does not look good on a guy.

Haha have you seen that episode of Family Guy where Quagmire thought Taylor Hanson was a chick? That shitwas HILARIOUS.

PS. I feel super old that anyone here was in 6th grade when Hanson was around.

  • Nebb, I thought Blake Lively would suck it up too, and turns out, she's pretty funny.  I still miss early 90's SNL with Adam Sandler and David Spade and Kevin Nealon doing Weekend Update.  Those were the good days.

  • Lol Salt I was kidding (not about the 'you are cute' part though). :) What were you doing for Santa today? That's so sweet about your new BM! Congrats.

  • I think I was in 6th grade, or maybe 7th or 8th.  My memory sucks.
  • salt, i totally suck at baking and almost screwed up the recipe. In the process i added too many eggs and they are rock hard now so they kinda suck but they were good when i first baked them.

    Theyre apple cinnamon cookies!!

I just bought all the stuff to make orange spritz cookies next weekend with icing, cake balls (chocolate with red and green candy melts), and truffles. Im all ramped up for some holiday baking.
  • somehow i doubt that my drinking wine and watching the departed is of interest to everyone...

salt, i dont reallly know how old i was, but i do kno that at some point i actively enjoyed hanson. i have read twilight and harry potter, and i HOPE that i am of some benefit to society.

  • Wait, must have been 8th or 9th grade, based on when their cd came out.
  • Laurenclaire, those were definitely the good days. I loved Phil Hartman, Mike Meyers, and Chris Farley too. David Spade's Hollywood Minute was one of my favorite things.

Nebb, your theory on sucky actors rocking SNL would explain why the January Jones episode was soooo disappointing. Poor girl, right after gloating that Ashton said she'd fail at acting. Not that SNL is acting.

Pfft, the departed is an awesome movie! My jaw DROPPED at the end. I couldnt believe that. I also heart matt damon and leo dicaprio so I love that movie just based on that.

Also: anyone who cares. SNL Christmas (2 hrs, best of) is on wednesay. I cant wait!!
  • Thanks for the reminder on that SNL Christmas Special.  That will probably be good because they're showing old clips.

  • Seriously? Hanson got famous in like 1997 (I googled it...I don't know this off the top of my head).

I was in college. I'm old.

THANK YOU BEATLES!!! I had to work a lunch with Santa event at one of our properties. It was fun. :) I apparently was all hormonal today though and when this one adorable little girl was sitting with Santa, I started crying. It was classy.

I will try to catch some of it, if only to see Matt Foley's "Twas the Night Before Christmas." They have to show that one.

<div>You have lists?  We have lists, too.  Scarlet Johansen is on the top of FIs.  I'm a big fan of David James Elliot, not that anyone even cares about him anymore.</div>

  • Ha ha, Salt's got baby fever, she's got baby fever... (sung to the tune of "Jungle Fever"). JK!

Oh man, I was a senior in HS when Hanson was popular, which is probably why I hated them. I was all into Alanis and Fiona and being angsty.

  • Beatles, my favorite skit of all time is the one with Christina Applegate and David Spade.  It's Chris Farley as Matt Foley, motivational speaker.  That skit makes me laugh until I just about pee every time.

    MMMMM!!

  • Nebb that is a long list.

I've got David James Elliot and Paul McCartney from 1967.  I think that's about it (but only because I hear Robert Pattinson smells - jk,jk)

  • I loved Hanson back in middle school! Mmmmmm bop.

I feel like the Jonas Brothers are this generation's Hanson brothers.

  • Yes, Fi and I  have lists, but our lists are very particular b/c we apparently think that  celebrities are lining up for us. His #1 if jessica alba in into the blue b.c she spends the entire movie in a bathing suit that doesnt cover her butt.

Mine is leo, matt damon, jake gyllenhall (spelling??), gerald butler, etc etc etc.  beggars cant be choosers

  • I'll ditto James McAvoy re: the list.  Also add, because I'm a nerd, Mike Rowe.  Cause I'm a nerd. But seriously, Mike Rowe is sexay.

Yeah, part of what made it so funny is that David and Christina kept cracking up too! I would not have been able to keep a straight face either.

Nebb, I don't think I remember that skit... who was in it? Also, I hate you for being married to DDL 2.0. My list has some similarities to yours, in addition to Michael Vartan circa Alias (he looks awful now) and Scarlett Johanson (somebody mentioned her earlier).
