Birthday Fun!

So Sunday was my birthday!   I had a wonderful day!    On Sunday I went to Church and got to take Communion on my birthday (which is cool because it only happens once every 7 years :) ).  Then I went up to a lake in the area I work at with my BF and his canoe and my best friend and her family.  We had a wonderful time!  It was warm with a slight breeze so we weren't too hot or cold.  We ate lunch, hunted for mushrooms, and canoed on the lake.  Then I went home and had a yummy dinner (flank steak and peas and white sauce) with my family and a cake.  Then BF and I played cards with my family (hand and foot!  It is an awesome game)
Then next day was awesome!  We got up at 5 to be in Monterey by 9:30 (we were 30 mins late we got lost a few times.)  The weather was beautiful!  It was sunny and warm.  We got into the aquarium.  I have been there before but it was so much fun!  We had a blast wondering around and looking at the cool fish.  It was a wonderful birthday!  One of the best I have had.  :)  All thanks to the wonderful people in my life!

    That's awesome!!

    I got to see HP.  I bawled through the whole thing...FI looked at me and was like "I'm glad you're enjoying the movie?"

    But Monterey Bay = 1000000x more awesome.  It's the first place I got to pet a stingray, and the beach down there is the first time I saw the ocean.  (And my mom's family lives in Salinas.)  :)

    Peek- awesome!  It is so beautiful down there.  I really like it.  :)

    I forgot to say one really adorable thing that BF said to me.  While we were having cake he made a toast to me "To Raven for being the best girlfriend a man could ask for."  I was so stunned and happy.  My dad made fun of him but I thought it was the sweetest thing ever :)<3

    I'm glad you had a great birthday!  sounds like a fun time.  I never heard or hand and foot before I will have to look that up.

    Ry- Awesome!  We did just the oposite I taught it to my BF and we play with my parents!  We shall so half to play!!!
    Danser- do it!  It is so much fun!  Totally worth it to learn!

    I'll totally drive from DC to play hand and foot!  I'll need a refresher, but I used to play with my roommates all the time!!!  :)
