xp: werid things showing up on registery

So im registered at BBB.. I have a feeling my shower is coming up because things keep disappareing from it.

I was looking at it the other day and there are some really werid things that people bought for us that i didnt register for on there. Like, it says amount requested 0 amount purchused 2

like someone bought 2 vinyl table clothes? I think there for outdoors. We live in a city in a apartment and everyone knows that.. we would have no use for an out door table cloth. And i most deff didnt registar for it.

Could it be that people are just picking things up for them selves and paying for it all at once and it gets added on to my registery?

I think at BBB things do show up on your registry when someone purchases additional items. It's weird but I've heard of it happening to other brides, so I wouldn't worry that someone is planning to give you two vinyl tablecloths

I wouldnt worry about it. You can always return it
I never heard of this happening but them my best friend keeps insisting that she added a bowl and plate to my friends registry.
I kept correcting her- and telling her that she in fact probbably DID NOT add anything to the registry, as online they are password protected and in the store they ask for ID... but she keeps insisting that in fact she did.

When I looked online- she DID! it's so weird.she added something to a registry.

I don't know HOw it happened but the guy cashing her out probably just scanned it all in and scanned in the registry.

I've heard BBB will add stuff from check out to the registry. I wouldn't worry about it

People are buying you stuff you didn't register for. At my shower I got a million picture frames that I didn't register for and when people took the registry page to checkout with these stupid frames they all started popping up on my registry leading others to think I wanted frames. Stupid BBB.

Weird. Like the others said I wouldn't worry about it too much. You can always return things if you need them or your guests purchased things for themselves on their trip to get your gift.

We had this issue with our registry at Kohls. There were 2 glass sets that I know we did not register for. They were added to the registry, and we received them as a shower gift on Sunday. The one lady even said "I have these same glasses, so I thought you would want them too."

Only positive part about it, is we were able to return both of the sets and get a $50 in store credit. Which we turned around and bought our luggage with for the honeymoon. So there's a plus to it too.

yeah i had that happen on mine like people bought a white spoon rest instead of the black one we registered for. Good thing is since its on the registry now you can just go in return it or exchange no hassle.

We just purchased a gift for FI's cousin off of their BBB registry and noticed there were some pretty odd things on their list with 1 of 0 requested items purchased. It must just be how the register rings up other purchases, but BBB should probably look at updating their system!
