crazy weekend!

So we were out of town at a wedding in St Louis this weekend, FI got a terrible stomach flu and is still sick.  In addition, the wedding was in a greenhouse/conservatory sort of thing.  Moments before the ceremony FI mentions "this is not where I would want to be in a thunder storm"--lots of glass and metal. Well, sure enough, a HUGE thunder storm rolls in, the venue is not water tight, and there are basically waterfalls inside so everyone is scrambling to move.  The bride walks out and Tornado sirens start going off.  Needless to say, we couldn't hear a word of the ceremony!  I felt so terrible!  I really hope that their videographer had them mic'ed otherwise they won't be able to hear anything on the video.  The rain calmed a bit and everyone made it to the reception (well, FI went back to hotel and vomited for 12 hours).
Now I am even more anxious about weather then I was before!

OMG, what a crazy wedding experience!!!  I hope the bride & groom made the best of it & didn't let them get them down on their special day.
Yay! Finally able to update my signature :)

Wow! That is really crazy, if I were that bride I don't know if I would have laughed or cried!

There must have been something in the air this weekend. I heard of three other catastrophic weddings and I attended one (it was my sister's! I am still recovering from the trauma).
