Hey girls! how was your weekend??

Ours was okay, pretty eventful. We went out to an awesome spanish place for our 6 month, went down to the shore to go see DH's cousin's play, and did a lot more stuff to the house.

gotta go to work but I'll try to get back on during lunch, miss you all

    Morning!

    Weekend wasn't too eventful.  Saturday we went by the house and they put the roof on in one morning!  FI didn't have to work so we visited my parents Saturday and cleaned.  Lazy Bums yesterday.

    Morning! I'm baaaa-aaack! :) (Not that I actually left... but I'm back in the state)
    Saturday, we watched the kids soccer games and then headed out and made it to Ohio, then Sunday, we drove from Ohio to home. Can I mention how much the turnpike sucks? K.

    Not looking forward to being at work today, however I am looking forward to getting back to reality. :)

    Not ready to go back to work either!

    Our weekend was good. Met with a florist, and we will probably book her.

    I volunteer at a dog rescue every Sunday and they have a dog there now that I am in love with. I told FI about her, and he said we should get her! I was so surprised to hear that -  our dog was hit by a car and killed in Oct when my parents were watching her and I didn't think he would want another dog yet. I am going to call today to schedule a time for him to meet her. She's perfect, I just hope she's not already gone!

    Hello.  I was sent home sick from work today.  I really should have stayed home, or turned around on my way in, but I wanted to get paid for half a day at least.  

    I also got a call on my way in for a job interview for tomorrow!  I don't know if I have to do a lesson or what, no info.  Yikes!  

    Also I will be in good old Philadelphia in one week.

    Good morning.  I had a good weekend.  Pretty relaxing and lazy.

    I have a ton of stuff to catch up on at work, so I probably won't be too active today.. unless I get annoyed and need a break :)

    Good Morning.

    Today is not a good day for me... if I come off b*tchy I apologize in advance.
    Today is the day I lost my mom 8 years ago, and while I can get out of bed and fake functioning for the most part...its hard.


    This weekend was busy...it was my work week, but the Phillies' fans treated me well, so glad they are back!

    Good morning.  I had a busy weekend.  I went home to Pittsburgh and woke up to this Saturday morning.



    At least it all melted by the end of the day. 

    I had my final dress fitting and I actually got pictures!

    Paprika-  I agree with you on the turnpike drive.  It's sooooo boring.  It didnt' help that Tim slept the whole ride back because he had a head ache.

    Morning. I hate Mondays - especially when it starts with b!tchy people leaving messages on Saturdays and expecting them to get back to you before Monday morning...

    Amy- you look GORGEOUS! We were almost dress twins. I almost went with that dress until my mom found my dress among the racks. I can't wait to see you all dolled up!

    Amy, beautiful! The big day is just creeping up!!

    Cait, I am so sorry to hear that. I could not even imagine how you must feel.

    Jess - This is the dog. She was actually already adopted by someone then returned for being "too playful." She already knows so many commands and is house broken and is such a sweetie. I just called and we're going to see her tomorrow!

    Our weekend was crazy busy! We did get out to visit my parents (Dad had a hernia operation last week so he's stuck at home), and I think they were more excited to see Kayla than DH and I! Their dogs were definitely excited to see her, and they only stopped playing to sleep!

    Yesterday I went to a bridal shower, and the strangest thing happened -- the bridesmaids started opening the presents before giving them to the bride so they were easier/quicker to open!!! The cards, too! I've never seen this before! I could not get over it, it was just so strange to me. Have y'all seen this?

    Morning.  Like NCV, was in bed sick with a cold all weekend and will be leaving work at noon and taking a half sick day.  DH gave it to me; shiit happens.

    Lady J - I have never seen that!  We had an assembly line for my friend... girls taking gifts to her and other taking the openned ones and stacking them.

    LadyJ, I have never heard of that before! That would really bother me though if I were a guest giving a gift to the bride. Was it a huge shower?

    They had an assembly line, too -- two girls were pre-opening and handing her the gifts, one girl was grabbing all of the paper for the trash, one girl was collecting things after she opened them and packing them back up, and two were working on the hat while her MOH announced what everything was on the mic. Yes, the mic.

    There were probably about 50 people there, and a few more than that many gifts b/c her mom went crazy buying stuff for her!

    I'll admit, I was more than a little taken aback -- I decided to wrap it myself instead of having BB&B do it, and I put in extra effort to make it pretty! Never again!

    Cait - hope the day goes fast for you, it must be tough each year that passes.

    Rachel - cute puppy! Hope it works out and you can give her a good home.

    My weekend was okay.  Getting the house in order has been a much slower process than I anticipated.  Its really taking a while to get things functioning.  My boss is out sick today so I'm hoping for a quick and quiet day.

    LadyJ - I HAVE seen that before... in Wilkes-Barre/Hanover.  My friend's sisters opened all her gifts and gave them to her to look at and AW for everyone to see.  I thought it was odd, and at the time I didn't know any better because that was the first bridal shower I ever attended.
