Coastal Gourmet menu flexibility

Hi everyone!
 
My fiance and I are considering having Coastal Gourmet cater our reception.  I have a large portuguese family and the food is always a big deal at weddings.  I am hoping I can incorporate some authentic portuguese food.  I'm wondering how flexible CG is with something like this. 

For example, perhaps between thier regular salad course and entree we have a portuguese caterer bring in a course to be served family style on platters to each table of a portuguese dish.

Anyone have any experience with something like this?

    I don't have any experience with this specifically but I can highly recommend Coastal Gourmet.  They were wonderful to work with and I would say to definitely talk to them about what you're looking for. They seemed very accommodating when we used them.

    Thanks Vanessa!  I did a bit more poking around online and saw that they catered a few other events and served paella, so that could be a great addition for our wedding.  I do want to keep the budget in mind though so hopefully we can work with them to include a lot of what we want but not go crazy with the price.

    We are actually meeting with Alyson at the Seaport this afternoon and I'm really excited!  We've been to Latitude's plenty of times but never been there thinking about a wedding reception or seen the River Room so I'm curious to see if it's got that wedding feel I'm looking for. 

    Only been engaged for a couple of weeks but I'm so eager to just get the venue set.  I think the Seaport is definately one of my top picks.  Lake of Isles was really nice too but a bit pricier and I didn't care for how far the cocktail space was from the banquet room.  Stonington Meadows is nice too (also Coastal Gourmet) but I just feel like the Seaport could be something special, but hopefully still also elegant, rustic elegant :-)
