Hello everyone I am new to this site my friend Bri helped me out with it. Well here is my dilemma I have looked EVERYWHERE you could possibly think of in dfw and then some also in Austin but haven't found anything!!! I want an outdoor ceremony that's romantic with a breath taking view, great scenery etc. preferably an indoor reception.Don't really like country clubs unless it has what I'm looking for. I know this is a lot to ask I want something that's the next best thing to a beach or destination wedding it would be ideal to get married in Mexico or something like that but family and friends can't afford it and it's not realistic so I have to find somewhere in Texas thats what I want but the problem is I'm beginning to think it's impossible. we are getting married next Sept/Oct 2011 and I have to find something fast. Any ideas and thank you in advance for the help.

Re: venue help
The first thing that comes to my mind is the Dallas Arboretum. I think it is probably the best outdoor venue in Dallas, although it is pricey.
Also there is a venue sticky at the top of this forum that might have some suggestions.
With All the Trimmings

What comes to mind off the top of my head is Paradise Cove on Lake Grapevine. I honestly haven't been there personally but I know they have a very nice gazebo that overlooks the lake and an indoor reception facility.

Weston Gardens
Here are some photos from an event there recently ( July). Lori is an amazing person to work with. This was place was one of my top choices. There is a very cool stone ship that is out of this world. I highly suggest touring this venue.
