WDYT of this 2-sided invitation?

I know people here mention that guests might not read the back. But this one is made from 2 different colored layers of cardstock. I love the look. And I love the price tag, since I wouldn't have to pay for additional inserts:

I would put the reception and travel information on the back. There is a separate RSVP card, of course.

  • You may want to put something on the front like "Please see reverse side for more information," just so people know to flip it over.  I wouldn't really think to turn an invitation over.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • I'd put the reception info on the front, just in case anyone doesn't realize there's a back. But on the whole, I think I like the idea.
  • I think its great :)
I find it hard to believe no-one looks on the back,  but if they don't they can always call for details (at which point you can direct them the the back :) )
  • I don't think I would automatically flip the invitation over to see if there was something on the back. But, if I didn't see any other inserts I would probably then flip the invite over looking for the additional information, so I think it's fine to do a double sided invite.
