I hate...

...the little piece of chub between my arm pit/shoulder and the side of my bra that always hangs out of tank tops in all my pictures! I really need to get focused and work on eating better and tracking my points better to lose the last of this weight.

1. Anyone else have a particular part of their body that annoys them more than another?

2. Would you ever consider plastic surgery to fix it?

I think I would do surgery but not just for that. I have a bit of wear and tear after the weight I've lost so I'd just tighten up a few spots if possible (lower stomach and chest).

My jowels and my love handles really upset me.  I hate thinking that I have a double chin (although it's probably just hallucination), and I constantly feel like my love handles are ginormous.

Maybe I would consider plastic surgery...but only in like 10 years if we can afford it and when I've seriously tried everything else.

My thighs/butt. I am soooo jealous of people who don't have cellulite or who have thighs that don't touch.

No matter how in shape I am my stomach is still soft and doughy. I could do three billion planks and situps a day and it wouldn't change. But I probably wouldn't get plastic surgery because that kind of stuff makes me queasy.

Ok, I want to add double chin to my list. It has disappeared quite a bit, but I feel as though it's always there waiting to come out in a picture somewhere.

I have always wondered what it'd be like to have thighs that didn't touch too. My thighs are good buddies, lol.

Reminds me of the Golden Girls where Blanche  is talking about how it's a shame women go through menopause and lose their womanhood and Rose buts in with, "You know what's a shame? When you sit down and your thighs squish out to twice their size." lol.

I have child bearing hips (so to speak) and generous thighs, but my worst, worst, worst feature are my "wings"! You know, the flab of skin that hangs from fat arms. HATE IT! Even when I'm on the smaller side, it's the one thing that bothers me. To be honest, I probably will have lipo on them eventually. I've thought about it, weighed the risks (money, surgery) and rewards (I can stay awake for it-I have a fear of being put under, it's a routine procedure) , and figure this is just one part of my body I can't stand. I hate wearing tank tops or anything sleeveless because of my upper arms, and that is HARD when you live in the deep south. It gets hot here. Not just hot, but humid! Life's too short for me to be worried about my arms for the next 40 years!

Definitely my thighs. Even when I was in HS and super skinny I had big thighs and a booty. It makes finding jeans that fit very difficult because they are always too small in that area but huge around my waist. I would love to have it taken care of because exercise doesn't help.

I hate my boobs. HATE. I've already been to a plastic surgeon about having a reduction when I was in college, he approved it & so did my PCP but my insurance wouldn't cover it & I didn't bother fighting it (I should have). Now that I'm older, I plan on having it done sometime in the near future, most definitely before I get married.

ETA: Ely, I hate that chub too. It's in every pic when I'm wearing a tank or dress. Grrrrrr

I wouldn't mind some laser eye surgery so that I don't need my glasses anymore.  I know it's safe and not very expensive, but I still don't know if I'll ever do it.

Besides SO says that I'd have to wear some fake glasses around him, he's all about the nerd frames :)

<div>I had laser eye surgery 2 years ago & it was the best decision I've ever made. I didn't have any of the potential side effects (no dry eye, no halos at night or whatever). It took like 10 minutes (BF watched on a monitor in the waiting room, creepy!!) & when it was over I sat up & could read the "No Smoking" sign across the room. It was unbelievable & I cried I was so happy & amazed. If you ever start thinking you might do it & have any questions at all, feel free to ask!!</div>

I went through a lot of body issues in HS so I've come to terms with most of my body but I still hate my thighs. I wish they didn't touch, and I've always hated how they look when I sit down. I also would love to have flat abs, but as a singer, it's really impossible, so I don't try at all, haha.

Ugh. Everything below my boobs and above my knees (I happen to have terrific calves lol). I just want to suck it out and tuck it in. Get rid of the belly and the muffin top and the thunder thighs. I don't want to be super skinny, but a size 10 would be nice.

RDR: Is the laser eye surgery expensive? I've always considered doing it. I don't have the money right now, but I'm not sure how much it costs. Does the effectiveness fade over time?

Kelly: Just curious, why can't you have flat abs as a singer?

I'd love it if my thighs weren't such good friends. As soon as you hit my waistline, things get a little soft and I'd like to change it but if I could lose the thighs (and keep the boobs, oh the boobs!) I'd be a happy camper.

Ely, I believe mine was $2500 an eye, and my insurance covered a small part of it, I think out of pocket I had to pay like $4000? It definitely sounds like a lot, even to me right now. But it was SO worth it.  And I haven't had another eye expense since I paid that off, as opposed to new contacts every couple of weeks & replacing glasses when necessary. Most places have payment plans. I opened a Care Credit account which was interest free if paid within 12 months. So since I had saved some money up for the surgery I was able to put that down & then make small payments each month.  My place also has a guarantee so as long as I go to the eye doctor for my yearly eye exam, if my eyes ever start to get bad again they'll do the surgery for free.  Mine are still just as perfect as they were the day I had it done & that was 2 years ago.
