I'm planning a winter/Christmas themed wedding for approximately the second weekend in December. So far I have chosen red and silver as our primary colors. My bridesmaids are wearing red dresses in their chosen style(as I have completely differently built bridesmaids) and I will be wearing a white gown with a red back panel. My guys are wearing black tuxes with red vests and ties.
Because of our shared scotch/irish heritage and the Christmas theme (plus I just thought it looked adorable) My flower
girls(ages 2 1/2 and 4) will be wearing plaid dresses(custom made, I linked both our inspirations at the bottom).
Our problem, however, is deciding what to dress our ring bearers(ages 3 and 4 1/2) in. We don't necessarily want to put them in tuxes to match the groomsmen since the flower girls will be dressed differently than the bridesmaids, but we were considering either a plain red or matching plaid vest with white shirts and black pants. Something like the 3rd link below..
Would it look okay to put ring bearers in plaid vests or do you think that would be too much plaid?

*also, we are planning to have the dresses and vests custom made, so the plaid would match, those photos are just an idea for the dresses and boys outfits.
