I confess that i drove all the way to the DMV to change my name... and completely for got to bring cash with me.

I also confess that I think I'm just going to wait until we buy a house because I have to change the address anyway.

I found out yesterday that it doesn't look like I'm having a bachelorette party. I know getting married doesn't entitle you to a shower and bachelorette party, but I'm a little disappointed.

How did you find this out? And you can organize your own little gtg, if you wanted to. since I only have a MOH I might help her to get some people together for mine.

I confess that it was a terrible idea to bring our second dog home the same week DH started law school (at night, after work). I have not been able to focus all week since we brought him home. I'm incredibly exhausted and frustrated...but know that I just need to give it time. I confess that this scares me about the realities of motherhood and being a working mom...

Sigh. People friends with me on FB probably saw this one coming! LOL = )

I was looking at the calender yesterday and realized that between my mom, my sister, and I, there is something going on every weekend until the wedding. I called my mom and asked her if it was planned ( I would really like to know ahead of time so I can dress-do my hair/make-up for going out). She said she didn't know how busy Sept. would be and that nothing has been planned.

Honestly, with everyones schedule, I don't see that happening. I'm busy this weekend and next weekend. My sister is going away the weekend after that for her anniversary. My mom is away the weekend after that for a yearly trip. The next weekend is the weekend before the wedding and I there is a good chance we will be away that weekend.

JIY - I hope they do plan something! If not, we'll all take you out! Sadly, I lost my shot glass engagement ring, but I can still party!

I have another confession..... FI and I realized last night that we can't afford all our vendor payments without using credit cards. I don't think either of us realized how bad it was. We'll be okay, but I think after the wedding we're going to sit down with a financial planner so we can figure out how we're going to ever buy a house, have a family, take vacations, and maintain my sushi habit.

Amer...I bought a house within a year of changing my name. An addresschange on your license is free and can be done online in about 30 seconds. You just get a supplemental change of address card to carry around with you until your license expires. No need to wait to buy a house. In fact, having the same name on everything when you go forward with buy a house will probably make the process easier for all involved...

I confess that today is my official last day of having off for the summer and I am sad.

Also, I confess that a knottie bachelorette party for JIY would be adorable and fabulous. We did this a year or so ago for kagkiki, whose bach party would ahve otherwise been canceled due to some emergencies that came up with her bridesmaids. She also then organized one for me, since a few of my bridesmaids don't drink. Good times were had. I would be in on this if we are making it a public GTG :P

Confession - My hair hasn't been trimmed on highlighted since June. I can't get it done for another two weeks and I may have to start wearing hats. It just looks gross!

I confess I feel like a mega bridezilla with this flower situation and I think my florist would agree!

I also confess I am so mad at myself for ever questioning my dress. I had my 2nd fitting last night and she removed the flower. I don't have the belt yet, but I can envision it and I am in absolute LOVE.

Cara - we will also have some stuff on our credit cards for the wedding. Don't worry about it - After the wedding you can focus on paying that off without any other wedding stuff to shell out $$$ for.
