Now what....

So my friend, who did my hair for years, calls me and says that due to her arthritis she is not sure she can do my hair and makeup after all.  So now on the hunt with 52 days to go for a place that I can afford either in Gig Harbor or NW Tacoma.

Wasn't stressed about anything with the wedding until now!  Help!

Google search gave me these options for that area:

    http://www.aprimasalon.com/services.asp

    http://brassfieldssalon.com/services/bridal-services/79541/

    http://www.azarra.com/Services.html

You could also try to get your MU done at the Nordstrom in Tacoma, you usually just have to buy 1 or 2 MU items to get it "for free."

    HTH!

What is your hair and makeup budget? Amanda from Pacific Artistry did mine and I couldn't have been happier. http://www.pacificartistry.com/

I got just what I asked for but I feel like if what I asked for had been a bad idea, she wouldn't have just avoided conflict but rather would have tactfully made another suggestion.

They come to your house to do the trial and day of (it turns out this is exactly as awesome as I thought it would be - I was really glad to not be running to a salon and then running back to put my dress on).

She was really nice and a good start to the day.

My makeup looked awesome in the way where while I looked fancy, I still looked like me. I'm generally a mascara and go girl and other times I've had my makeup done by professionals, I looked and felt all makeup-y.

Both the hair and makeup lasted a solid 10 hours without me being careful with it.

Maybe it was partly due to the style I asked for but last time my hair was done for an event, I had to put half a bottle of conditioner in my hair while I took 45 minutes to comb it out. This time, it was just like usual.

If it's within budget or even just beyond, I really vote for them. I looked and felt fabulous.
