Snug Harbor in Staten Island?

Any Jersey brides getting married at Snug Harbor in Staten Island? They are operated by the same folks who operate Liberty House and Stone House. They are just as far from us (we live in Jersey City) as some of the banquet halls here in Jersey and they look to be about the same price. I'd appreciate any info/experiences.

I live on Staten Island and have been to a few weddings there.  It's very pretty but the food isn't so great and the set up of the room is weird.  It is split in half by the dance floor but the bride and groom aren't in the middle.  I've sat on the side with the bride and groom and on the opposite side where it feels like you're part of another wedding.  Very awkward.  There are also no hotels anywhere near it if anyone may need or want one and it's not a great neighborhood at night.

If it's anything like the Liberty House, I would pass

I've never been to a wedding there, but I used to live 1 block away and would go there every weekend with my kids, and I will say that it's a beautiful place, so your pictures would be amazing. They have a beautiful tree tunnel where we used to always see wedding pictures being taken. There's also a beautiful "tiny castle" (not sure what exactly to call it, but it's kind of a little lookout tower but it's really pretty) complete with a moat and a "secret garden" and maze. Great photo op.

Also, they do have several locations to choose from. The Chinese Scholar gardens, or in the buildings, and I've seen them put up tents as well.

Thanks everyone! I was intrigued because they said it started at $75 per person - but that was for a reception that started at 12pm on Friday. Boo.

I love snug Harbor....Not sure when anyone was there last, but the food is amazing.  I heard they got a new chef once the new manangement came in.  Its such a great place for a wedding and hotels accomodations are near by.

anymore information on this? What are the prices like for evening weddings? Also, I heard that you can bring in outside caterers. Is this true?
