Distraction to the drama! Some F/U's

I got two bits of bad news today :( So after I tell I want some F/U's so I don't feel pitiful and the only one annoyed at life.

1. My c*nt ex-BIL has just informed my sis that he has quit his job (as a teacher) and joined the police force which means my sister will now get no financial support for the kids from him (as he will earn less than her) and that she will have to have full custody of the kids from now on (which will f*ck up her work as she is a nurse). It also means she wont be able to come to my wedding (as she wont be able to afford to pay for the kids since she now as to pay for extra childcare which is super dooper expensive here plus everything else for them). So my sister (one of me BM's) wont be there which makes me sad.

2. I was give bad news at the doctors :( I've only got 2-3 years and no chance of parole unless a family member kicks the bucket and will give me their heart. Which is very unlikey given that they would also have to match in all the other ways a transplant organ has to match. I also have to start taking drugs that cause massive weight gain and have another operation which will leave me with more scars so there goes my super sexy old school hollywood glam dress with a deep V :( I am going to start another thread for you guys to help me find another wedding dress.

So FU to exes
FU to cancer
FU to bad genetics
and FU to the Australiasia LV Vistors bureau who are cheapsteaks and wont give me free vegas stuff (yes I wont let this go!).

Edit- I feel so rude I forgot to ask what are your F/U's today?

    I am SOOOOOOOOOO SORRY!!! I will pray for you and keep you in thoughts. I hate that you're going through this time feeling happy you're getting married then the next moment some bad news.

    I am so sorry... T & Ps to you and your FI.

    BTW, I know that in Wisconsin a father ordered to pay child support cannot voluntarily QUIT a job if they will no longer have an income, or will have a smaller income, even if they are going to school/training/etc. Maybe your sister should look futher into that, maybe speak to a lawyer, or social worker, or someone.

    Thanks :) Its not that bad a miracle could happen and the rules could change next month or in a year or in two to get me on the transplant list. I live in hope plus I am not a down person so I choose to spend my time happy rather than p*ssed off and miserable.

    BUT THIS IS NOT A PITY PARTY PEOPLE! Give me some FU's or I will cry (see how I am using this to get you guys to do things!)

    Unfortunately here in Australia the higher earner has to pay the most. A lot of dead beat dads stop working and go on the dole (what we call social security) to avoid paying maintenance(as it is called here). And even if they do work they just stop paying and then the mother has to go to court (which takes ages) and pay for lawyers and then the court will order him to start paying and he will for a month or two and then the cycle starts all over again.

    Since no pity party here as you requested (but sending good vibes your way anyway)  I have a f/u too... to my future inlaw family that not a sigle one showed up to my bridal shower this past weekend.  We all had a great time but without them, oh did I mention we have been together for 19 years.  So F/U!  I feel better now!!

    OH NO! I didn't know you were an Aussie :) Do you ever listen to Hilltop Hoods?

    My sister was over there on a work visa for 4 months, and she just got back in February. She is ging back in June for a month, too. Sydney. She loves it there.

    yeap a true blue dinky di Aussie! I even rode a kanagroo to school and only drink beer and eat vegemite sanwiches (ok thats a lie I hate beer and vegemite and roo but we did have a sheep that thought it was a dog and lived in the kennels with the other cattle dogs!)
     Love the hilltop hoods. I have seen them perform at a few outdoor concerts and they go off!
    I am glad your sister likes Australia we are pretty proud of the place (well mostly).

    LOL I read everyones posts with a deep southern accent attached to them- not sure why but just the accent I choose for everyone (except the Canadians I imagine you all with Dudley Do right accents) and the Brits of course all sound like the queen in my head.

    Sorry to hear about your situation. It sucks. I'm sure you already know that.
    Where in Oz are you? My childhood bestfriend moved there after her teaching internship. She's in Berowa, where ever that is.

    My f/u is to FI's family. They keep verbally inviting people and then saying we should send them a STD/invite, but" they won't come" grrrr. And we're being guilt tripped over not inviting people we barley know. At least FI is on the same page as me!

    and a BIG F/U to my FIs ex who is friends with FSIL and invited herself to our wedding. Not only is she coming, but riding in the limo with us to the airport with FSIL.

    j_jaye - Thinking of you!

    I also wish Mother Nature would chill out a bit.  I used to do work in Joplin, MO where the tornado destroyed the town, killed 120+, and hundreds still remain missing.  It's so sad to see.  Here's a big Thank You to the volunteers and search/rescue efforts.

    No pity just party j_jaye  this is the Vegas board after all. Good vibes to you and your sister.And F/U to Michaels Craft stores who tell me on the phone they have the luggage tags I need for my STD’s then when I arrive they are sold out. And yes I asked them to put them aside for me. Argh!F/U to the TTC (public transit in Toronto) who can never seem to get me to work on time.

    OK.  So this made me think of something that did kind of pi$$ me off yesterday.  I was so flipping excited to pick up our wedding bands.  I go to the store and am first shown FI's ring.  Awesome!  It looks great.  Then then guy pulls out my ring and I'm kind of confused at first.  It takes me a second to register...IT'S THE WRONG RING!!!  I wish I could have seen my face.  <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-surprised.gif" border="0" alt="Surprised" title="Surprised" />

    Are you kidding? I would seriously put the nix on that! I wouldn't care if it caused controversy with FSIL, that is a complete BS move on her part. What the heII is wrong with that chick? There is NO way I would try to tag along on my ex-bf's wedding, is there something emotionally wrong with her?

     But....since no pity parties....and big FU to my evil FMIL who decided to spread the worst rumors about me and try to break up my FI and I all because I won't put his family before mine. She almost completely ruined the wedding planning. Its her fault that she has not been included in ANY of it. Esp since they are not chipping in....its all up to us and my parents!!!!
