I am an AW / Help me with my registry

I've decided to continue our search for a photographer. I kept having reservations about the one we were going to go with, mainly because they only edit 10 images, and then hand over 1000 unedited images. Even though I'm not looking forward to continuing to search, I just felt I needed to follow my gut. So now I'm waiting for quotes from four new photographers. I guess I shouldn't have deleted all those quotes I had when I thought we were done searching! :)

So, now I'm playing around on Bed, Bath and Beyond. We/I started a registry with the plates we decided on. Now I'm adding random stuff for the kitchen, monogrammed towels, etc. Any suggestions on what else I should add? I think we're also going to register and Crate & Barrel, so some things (like keepsakes/decorating items) we'll get there. Ready... GO!

Ha, I'm not a coffee drinker, and FI hates those particular ones for some reason... :) I did just add a panini maker/griddle to the list.

If you are a tea drink Teavan has a water boiler thing that you can program to different temperatures and you can re-boil the water up to 5 times. Maybe BBB has something like this... Its like a Kuerig Coffee Maker but for tea drinkers! I want one soooo bad! lol

Do you have a mixer? I want to get a mixer cause FI makes pizza dough from scratch most weeks, and I think that would make his life easier. (And I would feel less guilty about the labor he puts into our pizzas).

I'll definitely add a Crock-pot to mine too.

When is your wedding? I keep reading that we should register now. But I want a ceremony/reception location reserved first.

I'm not a tea drinker... usually just water, or a soda when I'm 'cheating.' FI's mom has a water heater-upper (very technical term) that it would be awesome to have when it's cold here. It heats water up pretty fast, and I can use it for honey/lemon water, or for apple cider. I'll try to find that!

We recently (maybe a year or two ago) got a new crock pot and a steamer/rice maker. The mixer is a great idea! I don't think we own a blender, just a little magic bullet.

Kitchenaid stand mixer!!! I am asking for one for Christmas from BF, and everyone else that wants suggestions for gifts is being told one of the myriad attachments that I want for it (certain pasta parts, ice cream maker, food processor, etc).

Blackout curtains! For these you might want to go in the store and look at the colors/textures in person.

I got a double curtain rod so that I could hang a sheer white one in the back for when we want sunlight in, but don't want guests (who might be hanging out in the back) peering inside our bedroom from the backyard.

We love ours because it helps me sleep in more.... and they reduced the electric bill by about half this summer. Totally worth the money.

Bedsheets. Like really nice high thread count cotton sheets. My mom gave me a set of super awesome sheets as a 'housewarming' present when I moved out on my own and it always felt soooo nice crawling into bed with nice sheets. I miss them (I had a double bed, BF and I have a Queen, but I can't justify spending that much on sheets right now Frown)

I use our griddle all the freaking time!  Love it.

Some of these are random but I use them often.

Great cooking utensils.  We have all OXO ones now and I love them.

    Glass measuring cups.

Organizational stuff (baskets/cubbies for inside drawers)

Dyson vacuum (already had one, but would have registered for it)

KitchenAid Stand Mixer (really high on the list, but another item we already had)

A good iron (love our Rowenta)

    A quality crepe pan

Register for your champagne flutes and cake cutting set if you are going to have them  (Otherwise, people may buy you a random set.)

Stuff that we didn't bother registering for that is 'traditional'
    -towels, sheets, etc.
I like to buy nice towels and sheets, but I replace them at least once a year.
