First dance song trouble!

I want something new but I'm having a hard time. Would Nickel Backs "Never Gonna be Alone" be a weird song for the first dance?

    Don't worry about what's normal or not in this wedding, as long as its not going to offend some of the older generations at the wedding, go for it!  The FI and I wanted to use "Your Guardian Angel" by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.  Not everything has to be one of the traditional first dance songs or those sappy 80s love songs.  I always like when I discover that the first dances aren't.
