The Pink Shell- Anyone have any input?

I have about 6 months until my wedding.  I am doing all the planning long-distance, and I have finally booked everything.  I am hoping maybe a recent newlywed has some feedback on some of my vendors... I am very confident I will love them all but feedback never hurts.  Also if you have any suggestions as to reception ideas that would be cool at the Pink Shell, thats awesome too!

Pink Shell- wedding/reception
Hope Artistry- make-up
Set Free Photography- photo (&photo booth)
Black Tie Entertainment- DJ (&uplighting)
Masons Bakery- cake
Libby's Flowers- flowers
Mike Mielke- officiant


I am also thinking about renting some lounge furniture for the reception...any suggestions?

Also, does anyone know a good place to order driftwood? (for centerpieces)

    Congrats! I've been to lots of events at Pink Shell and  they've all been great. The view from the ballroom over the ocean is perfect. The hotel rooms are very nice too- most with really great views. 

    I used Hope for make up and she did an awesome job. I was very happy and it looked amazing in pics. Thay are right when they say it looks heavy but to trust the professionals. She is very sweet.

    Didn't use them personally but have heard good things about Black Tie. 

    Used Mason's for my cake. Looked good but they screwed up the upgraded flavor and filling we picked out so that was a little disappointing. But, it was there on time without any hassle and looked exactly the way we asked.
