So somehow I came across the Nivea Cellulite stuff online the other day. I started to look at reviews and it had really good ones. I like that it makes it completely clear that it reduces the APPEARANCE and you shouldn't expect your cellulite to dissapear.
So I coughed up the $30 at my local Walgreens and bought the Goodbye Cellulite Gel/Lotion and the Goodbye Cellulite syrum 3 days ago. They say it takes 10 days to see results and also if you quit using it many say your cellulite comes back (makes sense since it only helps with appearance). I figured what the heck, I've never tried any creams or anything it's worth a shot.
Let me back up a little bit. The past month or so I have felt depressed everytime I try to find a cute cocktail dress for our honeymoon cruise. I have never (yes never) worn a above the knee dress without nylons but I love open toe shoes and I feel that open toes and nylons dont look right. In other words I've never been too girly girl because dressing up was not fun to me.
So anyways I've been using this stuff for 3 days and dieting and excercising again (diet and excercise a couple months again now). Today I went into Marshalls and tried on this super super cute Ocean Blue dress by Jessica Simpson (it's beautiful and a satin material). For once I actually wasn't disgusted the moment I saw my legs in the dressing room mirror by all the cottage cheese fatiness stuff that makes me despise trying on dresses. I mean sure I've still got a way to go but at least I know now that if I was to have to wear that dress right now I would wear it and feel good wearing it, and not worry that someone was thinking "OMG poor girl look at all that cellulite".
So anyways I'm not saying this stuff is amazing yet or anything but I am saying that for MYSELF I am glad I got it and I look forward to seeing even more of an improvement as time goes on. For someone who has dealt with cellulite on their legs for all of their late teenage/adult life, a little bit of change makes the world of difference to me and well worth the thirty bucks a month it will cost me to keep this up.
Anyways..not trying to tell anyone it works miracles or it will take away your cellulite, just sharing a possibility that there might be a product out there that will help. My legs were super bad (in my mind) more than anyone I know, and I'm about 20 pounds away from goal weight. I've just got the genetics that I will always have cellulite, maybe not as much the more I lose but always some and I am glad I found something that makes me feel more confident
