Wedding Party

got bridesmaids but no groomsmen

When my FI and I got engaged I immediately knew who would be my MOH and I chose two bridesmaids. My FI was debating about who would be his BM but know he's thinking  about not having anyone on his side. Any ideas on how to make the lineup not look out of proportion at the alter? I wasn't planning on the party marching in before me so thats not a huge concern.

  • You can have them both seated for the ceremony, or maybe one of them could stand on his side (especially if one is a mutual friend or closer to your FI).  Your photographer and/or the coordinator at the ceremony venue can help you figure it out at the rehearsal.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • They can just sit in the front row, which is common at Catholic weddings (only the Best Man and MOH are on the altar with the couple, usually ... the other attendants process down the aisle and then sit in the first pew on either side).

You could have the MOH come forward to collect your bouquet and hand off the rings when the time comes, if you wish.

  • those are good suggestions, thanks!
