unique wedding venue search

Hello everyone my fiance and I just recently got engaged while on vacation in Italy and are back home now looking for the perfect wedding venue!  We live in Westchester, NY and his family is from the north shore of New Jersey.  We are looking for a modern and unique wedding venue somehwere in either Rockland county or in northern New Jersey so it is convenient to both our families.  I have been searching online and found a few places but I want to look at as many venues as possible to make sure I get the best atmosphere, deal, and food.  Any suggestions???

    Hello, and welcome to The Knot.  

    The Knot realizes that for questions like yours, talking to everyone in the world won't be very helpful...I've neverbeen in NJ or NY so I have no idea what venues to recommend.  However, there ARE local wedding boards where you can talk to brides and grooms in your area.  You can find the link to your board on the left hand side of the screen, under "Local Wedding Boards".  Find the appropriate section for your area and see what they recommend.
