I want my ring back!

So my FI bought me a ring from around 1910-1915. It's amazing.  However it was missing a tiny stone off the the side that we knew we would have to replace. I took it in for an evaluation and to get fixed. It came back worth twice what we paid for it (yippee), but repairs have to be by a specialist and they take longer.I'm on day 4 (of 10 hopefully) and it's killing me to not have it on. I miss touching and looking at it all day.

I love the fact that it's a vintage ring and had a whole other life before me, but the repairs can be excrutiating to wait for!

  • Awww! That is amazing that you have a real vintage ring! I am jealous :)

I know how you feel about not having your ring. My setting broke on my e-ring a few weeks ago. I am still waiting..............it's terrible. I always feel like I am forgetting something.

  • If settings breaking on you due to an active lifestyle or whatever is a problem, look into a 6 or 8-prong setting instead of just 4 prongs.
