I felt that way too Reils. We were going to buy a house Upstate before H was offered this job. I'm glad we get to do this for a few years before "settling down" - But I also think that you can experience the city without living there. So you guys can just travel to one! If you come to this one I'll show you a good time.

Hike - I'm so glad you are liking it! The temperature would be an adjustment for sure. Especially with the potato in there. It will be hot for you this summer! Have you made lots of new friends? I feel like you'd be good at that.

Hiya. I'm here sort of. I'm at my dad's house but he's out of town. I'm going through some of my mom's quilting fabric because I want to make something like this for my guest room/reading room at home.

I'm thinking of opening a bottle of wine. I can claim I'm drinking with Sesh so I'm not drinking alone, right?

Evening ladies!

i'm a bad wife tonight. My H got home from work to find not dinner ready as usual but me a mess. Some rodent (we suspect voles) decided to eat the damn tops off of half my cauliflower and broccoli sprouts. Apparently after a week of final exams and what I can only suspect to be raging hormones, it set me to tears. like ridiculous, the world is ending sobbing.

My H is the best husband tonight. He just spent the last 2 hours assembling one heck of an impenetrable fence around all my veggies. He's my hero. So now i'm getting dinner ready. Not quiet diet friendly but he deserves his favorite fried chicken.

Speaking of dinner: Does anyone have a tasty recipe for chunky salsa? i'm a bit of a salsa fiend and would love something traditional yet new to me. I usually just dice up tomatoes, onion, peppers, with some s&p and cilantro. I'm usually too impatient to not eat it all asap

FI and I made this, but we used the tomatoes that were pre-canned and had I think pineapples in there too or something? It's really good when you let it sit for a day or two first.

If you want lots of TV shows, HIke, check out Hulu+. It was $7 last summer for us and they have TONS of full series of shows.
