  That's a cute idea, I have no ideas though. I figured that was one area I  could save on a budget- not do the groom/bride gifts!

  I bought FI a nice watch. He picked it out so he knows he's getting it, but I wanted to get something he would wear.

  I am doing boudoir photos and I am going to give them to him the night before or morning of. Also I have been keeping a journal of lovey stuff / everything that has happened since our 1 year countdown to the wedding. I may get something else as well but that is all I have thought of so far.

  We're not doing anything. At least, that's what we've discussed before. As we're paying for some of the wedding and all of the honeymoon, we figured those were our gifts to each other.
  
  I like the basket idea, but unfortunately I don't know about big gifts as we're not even going there.

  We originally werent going to get each other anything..just send love letters to eachother morning of wedding...but I am dong boudoir photos for FI to send him the morning of the wedding with the love which our videographer will tape each of us reading..My photographers fiance is looking to build her portfolio....she is his second shooter and is doing them for me for nothing! i am excited ! also doing a grooms cake at RD

  Also doing boudoir photos and sending over a nice card for him to read for our videographer.. I'm totally gonna cry when I see that lol. Also giving him a grooms cake for the RD

  I'm also doing Boudoir photos and I found this cool little fill in the blank journal about looove that I've been working on.  I will give them to him after the rehearsal dinner.

  Thanks for the ideas ladies.  I think I will probably do the basket and then cufflinks since that is what we are giving our groomsmen as part of their gift.

  We decided not to do gifts - they'll just be more stuff to lug around since we're doing a destination wedding.  Instead, we're going to splurge and spoil ourselves a little more on our honeymoon with the money we would have spent on gifts for each other.

  We originally decided not to do gifts, but then I found one I couldn't pass up when searching for Christmas gifts. We're huge Washington Nationals fans (as I've probably mentioned...he proposed at the baseball stadium!) and I found on their fan site they have cufflinks made from game-used Nationals baseballs. At first I thought it might be cheesy, but my brother said they were cool and when I saw them over Christmas when I went home, I was so happy I got them! I think he'll be really surprised. Since he'd wear a tshirt and jeans to get married if it was allowed, I figured this way at least he could wear something, though tiny, baseball related

  We haven't discussed gifts for each other, but I am not expecting anything. We skipped Christmas gifts for each other this year and since we're paying for our own wedding, it's a big gift to ourselves
  
  I did, however, find something small that I will give to him on our wedding day -- a handcarved address stamp that has our family name, address, and a horseshoe -- our favorite pro football team is the Indianapolis Colts! I know it's something we'll use going forward, and it kind of shows our new start together as a family since I'm taking his last name.
  
  Other than that, maybe a nice handwritten letter.

  

  So ready to bring our families together and PARTY on April 13th, 2013!
