My dad took me a few times to catch tadpoles and we put them in a big jar of pond water with holes punched in the top, they ALWAYS grew into little frog babies. It was awesome.

Night, my garden is getting there. It is weeded and rotatilled, and I bought the veggies today. I am HOPEFULLY planting tomorrow!!

  • DH put a kitty door in the door to our basement so the cats can get to their litter boxes and food downstairs but the dog cannot (doggie ate through the wall to the garage from the basement.... twice). Lily dog figured out how to lock the cat door though, and locked the cats in the basement yesterday. Haha, dog outsmarts cats (and DH) again!

I always worry that random animals would come in if we had a doggie door. There is a possum and a groundhog living outside somewhere and I would HATE to find them in the house one day.

my parents had a doggy door that was electronic. it only opened for her dogs, because the dogs wore remotes on their collars. when the dogs got in range of the door, it would open. she could also lock it if she wanted the dogs to stay in or out.

it was pretty cool. I want one for our dog.

  • Our kitty door only goes to the basement, between the upstairs and downstairs. Our cats are indoor cats and probably too dumb to go outside, they'd probably chase cars.

  • Pooh- thats awesome! When we get a doggie door im insisiting on that
  • do it. FI and I have already decided on it if/when we do get a doggy door. of course, once we do get it, and it opens for my dog... my dog will probably just sit there and look at it while waiting for us to open the door properly.

  • Yea, I imagine Quincy will be seriously confused and he'll never figure out how to get back into the house
