Details coming together, but who's going to marry us????

If this whole thing was up to my parents, I'd be getting married in the Catholic Church, with a big Catholic wedding and a big Catholic priest. That's not how things have worked out though, and now I'm left wondering who the hell is going to lead us through our vows. I've looked at local ministers, but they seem really expensive and impersonal. I've recently had the suggestion to call the JP and ask if they will come to our venue. Has anyone done this before? Can you tell me what fees were involved?

    You can always check out Love Notes.  Several of our Knotties here have used them before and had pretty good to wonderful experiences.

    Yeah I was going to recommend Love Notes--but they are, or at least were, pretty expensive.  I think we paid $450.  But we met with our officiant several times and really like him and it ended up being a very good experience.

    There is another one, a female--Ari someone--that alot of Knotties have used and loved and she is cheaper I think.

    We are using Arianna Gray and she charges around 350-ish and that includes the rehearsal dinner.

    I believe he is about the same price...$325-350ish (including rehearsal). I probably would have snatched him up too if it weren't for the fact that she and I are getting married on the same day! :)

    We are hoping to use Marty from Love Notes. There isn't enough of a difference in pricing to not get what we want (not worth saving 100 over having a crappy ceremony).
