Hi! I'm Martelle. I'm not really new, but I frequent FB a lot more than TK. I'm a June 30th bride from Wisconsin. Our wedding is on a golf course with the reception in the clubhouse. Our colors are red, orange and yellow. We have 5 attendants each + 3 ushers, 2 PAs and 2 readers. Our wedding is fairly large, I'm thinking 150-175 will attend. FI & I have been together for over 7 years! We got engaged on our 6 year anniversary...and no, we are not highschool sweethearts!

I'm Kim, and have been with FI for over 7 years. We've been engaged since 12/18/10, and are (finally) getting married on June 16. Our venue is a winery overlooking a beautiful lake. No kids or pets, we're both very busy and happy with our work. I'm actually still at work, should probably get off TK lol.

I'm Lindsay and I'm not sure I've ever formally introduced myself, though I post sometimes. FI and I have been engaged since last spring and we're getting married June 2nd! Our colors are cobalt and pink.

We got engaged on our 7th anniversary, Sept. 3, 2010 - Our wedding is June 9
I work as a Medical Assistant and FI is a technician doing soil samples and construction materials testing
Our wedding colors are clover green and lilac purples
Our wedding has a country feel - not the "cowboy" country, more of an "open-field" country
FI and I are sort of HS sweethearts in that we went to the same high school but didn't officially meet until after he had graduated

hey everyone! I'm Jen and we're getting married on June 30th. FI and I met in 2007, started dating in 2008 and were engaged in 2010. We waited a while to have the wedding due to grad school, moving and new jobs. I'm from PA but moved to OH with him a few months ago. wedding is still in PA and we go back and forth a lot. After being engaged for so long, it's hard to believe it's finally here! We're getting married at a golf course, out door. Colors are purple with a little bit of grey. I'm pretty obsessed with purple.

For the wedding, we brewed our own beer and made labels. they turned out really great, but they're taunting me from the cases in our kitchen

I'm Jen. Not new, but post when I can. I'm getting married June 16th in Ohio, and we'll have been together for 9 years at the end of this month. Our main color is a dark purple with dark red accents.

Hi, i'm Josie. from south florida, FI is from St. Louis we have been dating for a year and 2 months and he proposed this past new years eve, infront of like 50 people! short i know but we were friends for 2 years before we started dating and i knew 4 months in he was it! we are getting married june 24th at a converted warehouse, it's now a hall that is very artsey going to be awesome. our colors are watermelon pink and turquoise (summer) we are having a pretty traditional jewish ceremony followed by a rockin cocktail reception at which, if we can work it out, FI and I will bust an awesome move during our first dance.

We are getting married June 23, 2012 having a very traditional Italian wedding. Our colours are light pink, ivory and champagne (gold). I work as a Financial Planner and FI works for the Municipality. We have 6 attendants each and 2 RBs, at this point I am done with wedding planning and just want to be married and enjoying are 2 week HM!

Hi I'm Katie! I'm not new but I post more on FB than TK now. FI and I have been together since January 2005 and engaged since new years eve 2005 into 2006. We didn't really decide on a long engagement it just happened that way. I was 18 when he proposed so I had a lot of growing to do. We wanted to buy a house and be out on our own before we spent a boat load of money on a wedding and had to go back to his parents basement as newlyweds!

Finally in July of 2010... the day after my 24th birthday we became homeowners!!

FI and I will be tying the knot on June 15th! and we couldn't be more ready!

I work as a financial aid coordinator for a very well known college and FI is a landscaper. We have 3 fur babies. Jack is a 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Bella is a 1 1/2 year old Shiba Inu and Bentley is a 1 year old mix..

Hi I'm Nicole! I, like some of the others, post way more over on FB so I never come on TK anymore. FI & I have been together for 6 1/2 years and got engaged in February 2011. We are getting married on June 15th and our main colors are black and fuschia. We have three children between us, it's a her's (9), his(8), ours (3) situation although his son is more like mine since he lives with us full time. We also have a yellow lab Jessy who will turn 4 on July 4th!

My name is Nicole and FI name is Ekon. We met in my 1st year of college stayed distant friends till about 5 years later when he FB messaged me catching up, only thing was he was now in Seattle working. One thing led to another.. and he proposed! We both now live and work in the Washington DC area, getting married June 8 in Houston where the majority of our families reside.

HM is a 10 day tour of Europe leaving June 9!

I'm Hilarey- FI and I have been together for 4.5 years and he proposed last Xmas eve, so we've only been engaged for five months. We're getting married on June 29 in Iowa, where I grew up. Our ceremony is going to be at our Art Center rose garden, then we'll move inside for dinner. Our guest count is 25- just immediate family and two close friends.

We splurged on our honeymoon- we're going on a Mediterranean cruise to the south of France, Italy, Monaco and Spain for 10 days, then we're going to Prauge (where I studied abroad in college) for four more days.

We live in Washington, DC- I bought a row house about 3 years ago and FI moved in about a year and a half ago. FI runs an Irish Pub and I work in vide production. No kids, but we have two fur babies- Egg Roll and Napoleon who are 2 year old French Bulldog brothers. They are very spoiled.

HI my name's Rachel. I'm newer here and just started posting. Been lurking for awhile on other boards and was happy to stumble accross this board. This is a fun post and excited to add.

Been with FI since high school (11years!) and engaged last April. Getting married June 23rd at the Botanical Gardens both ceremony & reception so keeping my fingers crossed for good weather. Invited 250 people and so far have about 90 yeses back. Wedding party consits of 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen and 2 ushers. We have two dogs who would be in the wedding party but no dogs at the venue. Colors are Dark Purple, Turquoise, Lavender and shades of grey.

My name is Ashley. FI met online and started dating in November 2010. We got engaged on September 3, 2011 and we are getting married on June 30, 2012. Our wedding colors are purple and gray. We have 7 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, 3 flower girls and a ring bearer.
Things are really crazy (in a good way) for FI and I right now because not only are we planning our upcoming wedding, but we are also in the process of buying a new home. We do not live together right now so it's exciting to be purchasing this home at the same time that we are starting our married life together! There are a lot of changes coming our way and I couldn't be more excited.
It's hard to believe how close we all are to our wedding dates. When I joined TK I specifically remember my countdown being at 299 days. Now I'm at 50!!!!

I grew up in a few states (MI, WV, CA, and AZ) but currently live near Detroit, MI with my FI. I work for the med school downtown/ a hospital/ a VA hospital and have another job with a company that helps those with mental disabilities.

I'm getting married on June 22nd outside next to a river. My colors are blue and green. The day after the wedding we're going to Guatemala for our HM for a week.

I'm a lurker, rarely a poster, but this is a fun thread!
FI and I have been together since August of 2008 and got engaged Feb. 15, 2011.
Getting married June 15th in New Orleans.
Anticipating about 325 people (still waiting on those RSVPs!)
Colors are Navy blue, light pink, and some silver.
We have two kitties, who are our children (for the time being)!
I have two crazy months ahead of me and I decided to do all the most stressful events in short time spand- graduate, get married, take my licensure exam, buy/move into a house, and start a job!
But I am graduating in 5 days with a Doctor of Physical Therapy!!
