Engagement Picture - Locations. Please Help!!!

Hey girls!! So, for my engagement pictures, I want to do a location at Miami Dade College (where we met) and Matheson Hammock Park because it has a park and a beach location! Unfortunately, I just spoke with them and they told me that 1. No pictures are to be taken during the weekends, only on weekdays. 2. There is a fee per open aprea; in other words, I have to pay $149.80 for the park and $149.80 for the beach! THATS INSANE!!!  So, now I have to look for another place thats not Matheson Hammock Park or South Point because we want something different that has either a park area, beach area, jungle field area, or a little bit of everything.... any ideas???

    I had my pictures taken at Jimbo's at Key Biscayne. They were really unique and lots of color so I loved them. The place looks like a junk yard but its actually a really famous photoshoot spot. It's free and near a beach area so we got both types of pictures taken.

    I can't remember the name BUT....

    What about that park in coconut grove (I think it's a dog park) that always has the lemonade truck in front?

    I was at lunch yesterday at S&W near South Pointe yesterday and was just thinking that I want to take my engagement shots there. It was a gorgeous day and you get the Miami skyline in the background. Gorgeous!

    Another good option is Bill Baggs Cape Park in Key Biscayne. You have the beach, the lighthouse (which I have seen great pictures taken), and there have a trial with lots trees. It's a really great location to use and your pictures will look great!

    We took ours at Bill Baggs State Park and got some nice pics with the lighthouse in the background, sunset pics on the beach, and also some pics in the park!

    We took ours at the bank Atlantic center since we are both diehard hockey fans ... Maybe if there's a sport that u guys both love or something you both have in common you can contact the stadium We were gonna do pics at an amusement park or a fair ... Like playing the games and on the ferris wheel and everything ... We're young at heart like that lol .... Maybe that's an idea for you as well Hth!

    I believe the park in coconut grove that pp was referring to is Peacock Park!  HTH!  I have also seen beautiful pictures at Virginia Beach in Key Biscayne.  HTH!

    Thank so much for all the ideas ladies - I will look into each and everyone of them!!! Definitely, Fairchild Gardens is out of the question because they have a $200 fee and I really do not want to pay that much just for the location since I am already paying so much for the photographer!! Thanks again for all the suggestions!!

    In Homestead there is a Fruit and Spice Park, Idk if you have your heart set on the jungle theme, but there's also the Gold Coast Railroad museum on 152 st and the pics from there look great!!!!
