Doubletree Magnificent Mile - Outdoor Cocktail Space?
Hi ladies! I was wondering if anyone had been to/ had their wedding at the Doubletree Magnificent Mile? I saw the space and loved the outdoor cocktail area by the pool. I took my fiance to see it, and he thought it looked blah. I did some googling, and I can't seem to come up with any pictures of the area done up for a cocktail reception. Does anyone have any pictures or know first hand whata it looks like? Thanks!

We decided that it's best for us to use the lower level of the outdoor patio - its the space before you walk up the extra steps to the pool. We decided on this for variety of reasons.
1. The pool space is open to the public even during your cocktail hour. So depending on the time of year you are having your wedding, this could be a problem.
2. The Doubletree (Brooke is our Sales Manager and she is managing) said that they could block off the lower level just for us. They are going to set up high boys with table covers throughout the patio. We will also have flowers to decorate the space. I was also thinking of doing something to the wall - possibly covering it with white fabric to make it more wedding-ish.
