Shiit. We need a damn Cheer-Up Session!

C'mon Ladies! The confessions thread is making us all look like a bunch of winter blahs in need of a hug a damnit.. You're all gonna get one.

Let's try to cheer up. I'm sick of wallowing in the pity pool myself. Care for a picture thread? Maybe we could all post about things that make us happy that we're looking forward to? I know the present can seem dark and gloomy, but if you can look towards the future rainbows it makes now.. not as bitter.

I am looking forward to:

the first rose of the year

the day the monarchs come back

tubing in the Hill (see my niece and H?)

The Fair! (plus funnel cake, corn dogs, and lemonade)

my spring/easter tree

But I like feeling sorry for myself!! just kidding...I don't have a picture, but I'm looking forward to taking Maggie (pic below) to the beach for the first time when its warm enough to go in the water. I hope she likes swimming! Also, looking forward to my garden (fresh tomatoes, strawberries, raspberries, asparagus, etc). Yum!

Yeah, I need to thin them out this year. Luckily we have a really big yard (2 acres) so its not a problem. I forgot that I am also looking forward to using my new blender (yay engagement presents!) to make daquiries with my strawberries!

yay a cheer-up thread!

I'm looking forward to the following items/things/places:

Green grass which has already started growing!

Going to Hogwarts next month!

Getting our deck NEXT WEEK!!! (yeah I'm the sh!t and spiced up a drawing in photoshop)

Going to St. Augustine many many many times this summer since H and I can finally afford to do things again!

And finally getting this little beauty before the end of summer so I can properly work on things at home!

My H built a new target board this winter for me and i sewed new bean bags. It's taunting me from the garage. I can hardly wait to play! AND bocce ball! i am a bocce ball fiend.

That's sad. (although the Schwan man rocks) We had an iced cream guy from the local dairy farm that would make the rounds to the farm a handful of times each summer. So good!

Shay--they're knockoffs of the Manolos that I found on DSW by accident. I wanted the something blue shoes originally, too, but I'm not ready to spend $1K on shoes. These are Martinez Valero.
