so uh....what IS snarky brides about? lol! I first came on here not too long ago thinking it would be great entertainment with all kinds of mud-slinging, whining, and hissy-fit throwing and have found more of that on the etiquette board

Every board/list/group has it's own culture. I think the point is to lurk, learn and respect that culture. I got married two years ago and drop by still on occasion. In my 2+ years, I have had two shouting matches here, but you know what? This is a great board and around here everyone gets over it.

To some extent, all long standing boards are "private playgrounds" and indeed as Blue says if you don't like it, you can pick up your toys and go to another sandbox.

As to the Snarky thing, I actually recall a few years back regs getting into debates about the meaning of "snarky", which it finally occured to everyone was so ridiculous they just stopped it. Next thing I knew there was active dislike of the term, but for various reasons a name change was not to be.
