I'm trying to convince myself that it's not a good idea to bake the funfetti cupcakes in my pantry. I would definitely eat half of them if I did make them. However, if we end up having people over tomorrow I might just have to make them!

I don't even know what happened to our top layer. I told them I didn't want to take it, but they didn't cut it and we never saw the leftovers. And we were there for about 4 days ater the wedding. hmmmm. everyone would have definitely ate it the next day! Idon't care if they ate it, I just hope they didn't throw it out.

I'm sure the workers probably ate it. Ours is in my aunt's freezer. We won't attempt to eat it until we go home in August, so a month late. Oh well. I'm most excited for all the sugar flowers on top of it, and hope they stay good!

I had a small slice of each flavor of our cake. It was delicious and we got lots of compliments on it. Our guests never knew that it came from a box.

Ours was from Publix - everyone said it was good.

So beachy, my mom just left the nursing home. waiting to hear what the deal is, but I guess Grandma decided today was not the day.

I'm here! We had a bbq at my cousin's house. It's only 58 degrees, cloudy, windy and feels like rain, so we spent most of the time inside. Brrr.

I just heard H answer the phone and it sounds like it's his sister again. FML. She's totally paranoid about everything and lives with MIL and FIL because she's afraid to be alone. Well, that and she hasn't had a job in over 4 years so she can't live anywhere else. Friday night we had to go over there at 11 pm because MIL and FIL went camping and she was home alone. Some guys were parked in a car on the street and she was afraid they were going to attack her or something. She begged H to come over. We got there 5 minutes later and they were gone. I really, REALLY hope this isn't another panicky phone call thinking someone is going to break in the house and murder her.

She's got some big problems. She's a 27 year old single mom but she acts 15. I'm pretty sure there's some undiagnosed developmental delay there. I had to report her to DHS because of her actions during these panic attacks a year ago, which majorly screwed up the relationship with my ILs; we're just now getting back to being more than civil. Unfortunately they're religious nuts who think God and Xango juice can cure everything.

ETA - It does make me sad for her and her son. It has to suck to live in a constant state of paranoia that everyone who walks by your house when you're home alone is there to break in and kill you.

That sucks Drama - is she getting any kind of therapy/help? how old is her son? that must be so hard for him to grow up 'normally' with a paranoid mom.

MIL and FIL don't want her taking medication. They see it as the devil's work or something. Basically, they think she should be able to be healed by prayer and antioxidants. Somehow they got warped into believing that every illness, mental illness included, is due to infections that can be cured by antioxidants. Are you starting to see why I'm so bitter toward my ILs? They actually told me if I would just drink this juice I wouldn't need my antidepressants anymore. I'm sucking at being a mom today. I have had to change his outfit 3 times today. The first time was due to his diaper leaking and the second 2 because i was changing him and wasn't fast enough to get the clean diaper on him.

Ciara that happens to everyone sometimes. And parenting is just like anything else in life, when you have an off day it's really off. Have you heard of peepee teepees? My aunt used them with her boys.

drama - that is very unfortunate. for everyone involved. i don't get people who don't accept medication
