E-pics...I am dying!

OK, first off, I am 43, but I feel 60, and I felt ridiculous doing e pics in the first place b/c of our age. But photog highly recommended to help us get to feel more comfortable in front of camera, it was included in our package and we have full rights to reprint. I was not comfortable but FI and dog had a blast! So, now my friends think we should put an announcement in the paper, which was NEVER my intention. Is there one you guys think would be ok if we did. I dont know what they are supposed to look like.

I think you two look great! I wouldn't worry about the age thing...you're getting married! You should have the full experience no matter your age!

I personally love the last one for the newspaper because you can really see your faces and you both look very happy. I also love the photo with the dog though. You'll have to let us know what you decide!

I thought you meant fi until I saw breed...lol.

His name is Toby and he is a 7 yo landseer Newfoundland. He looks bigger than he is, he only weighs about 130-135. And he is a total love bug.

Aren't they the best dogs! We had a Great Pyrenees too who we had to put to sleep last year. She lived to almost 12. She acted more like a cat. I keep looking at rescue newfs and puppies but I think he has got used to being an only dog. Is yours a big drooler? Toby is not too bad, unless food is around. He sheds a lot but his coat is kind of dry for a newf. do you work yours? We were invited to join a newf club and they do lots of events with towing wagons and pulling boats but we work so much it is hard. Plus he kind of prefers to kick back more. We did ours pics downtown by town hall and people kept interrupting the photog to ask us about him. I would love to see a pic of yours.

Your pictures are adorable and I like the one with Toby in it the best. I think you're fine using that for a newspaper annoucement. And I agree with cnf, I'll be freaking thrilled if I look as good as you when I'm 43.

They are definitely the best dogs - so loyal and loving! Sorry to hear about your Great Pyr -- that's a good long age for a dog of their size though, must have had a very good life <3

Our Tommy is crossed with a black lab and we got really lucky that he didn't inherit any drooling hahah He sheds SO much though. He's a lazy old man and definitely not a work dog :P LoL He's pulled a sled through snow a few times though and had fun with that.

I love them all! You're crazy if you think you're too old, they're just beautiful pics for the two of you! If you think it'd be neat to do the paper, go for it. Keep in mind most are black and white and smaller. I think they cost too much but I'm also on a budget so it might be a non-issue for you guys. It would be neat to have the paper clipping and maybe people you have lost contact with would enjoy the news.
