sample sale prices?

Hello!

For those that purchased sample bridal gowns, can you give me an idea of what % off of the original price they tend to be?

I imagine there's a range...but I'm just wondering if it tends to be small (like 20%) or big (like 50%)...because I have NO idea.

Thanks!

Check out Rush's, they have a list of all their samples online they are selling, so that should give you a good idea!

I saw one once when a friend was getting married that was $1,200 but the sample was $399.  It was a Maggie Sottero and at the Wedding Shoppe.  HTH

I bought a sample dress at Rush's that was 50% off. So I paid $535 for a gown that was originally $1070.

I bought my second dress at The Wedding Shoppe. It was originally $1150 and I paid $399.

So yes, I would say sample sales can definitely be worth it.

If you can't find something you like at a sample sale, talk to your sales clerk during your store visit and tell them you're willing to place the order that day if they'll give you a discount.

I've been shopping at Raffine, Bridal Accents Couture, Priscilla of Boston, and Monique Lhuillier and I was offered a 10% discount for placing my order that day.

HTH! Good luck! I hope you find something for an awesome deal!

The ones I was looking at were between 50-75% off.  Definitely a great deal if you can find one you love.

My dress was a sample and ended up being about 40-45% of the original price so more than half off (the original price differed based on the store that was selling it so keep that in mind too).

I just bought mine at Napier's sample sale. It was originally $750 at the store and I paid $299... I also found it online for around $1,000 so it all depends on where you look! I'd definitely hit up a sample sale again :D

Mine was listed around $950 and I bought it for $299.  Great deals if you find what you like!
