It works out though, I just let you post what I'm thinking--minus all the very helpful military info I don't know.

Hehe... this made me giggle.  And yes, I'm definitely nuts.

I didn't like you at first.  I thought you were a bit intense.  You're still a bit intense, but I've learned to like your particular brand of crazy.  Perhaps I've drank a bit of your Kool Aid.

When I'm angry or upset, I drop f bombs like it's my job. I'm so classy. At my old job, my coworkers would start laughing when I would be on a rant because it is so unlike my usual behavior. They always knew when I was getting upset though because an f bomb would come out somewhere.

I also either OP is having a PPD, or a troll, or both (somehow she is both, not sure how yet haha)

I hope she comes back too! She seems nice. I don't think she was fishing for compliments on the other board. I think she's just trying to find a board to be a reg on

</div><div>HAHA. Me too! My mother always asks me why I curse so much more, and my reply to her is always, "My husband is a sailor! We just curse!" Seriously though, H and I have such potty mouths and every convo we have usually have a curse word here and there. People might think we're arguing when we're really just having fun teasing each other. There are times on the boards when I've said a few bad things though when I can't keep it in anymore. </div>

Oooooh, I've been on Obama's and anti-bipartisanism's Kool Aid for quite awhile now!  I think your moderate liberal mindset might have been one of the first things that made me go, "Okay, maybe this chick isn't just a crazy war hawk who wants to go blow things up.  Maybe she's actually concerned about her country, has her own mind, and is kind of badass."  I'm a bit biased!

<div>I just guffawed, literally. I really love my country, and that generally means I hope for peace and not having to blow things up, but I'm willing to if I have to. I'm a Truman Liberal, yo! I think people think often that me wanting to join the military so, so much makes me super conservative and scary. Originally I wanted to go into politics, until I was jaded by the whole Monica Lewinsky ridiculousness. So I decided the military was an awesome, egalitarian institution that I wanted to be a part of. Especially since I come from an educated, financially comfortable upbringing. I saw only the poor kids joining, and that didn't sit well with me. I'm down to blow things up (though I probably won't), because it protects them. The poor kids who joined because it was their best option for a quality future. The E1-E5s. They're the ones who matter.</div><div>
</div><div>And honestly, it's the egalitarian meritocracy that attracts the liberal in me. Because honestly, tell me where else in society an older white male would have this much respect for a young AA female? <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6iAMiJUu5g">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6iAMiJUu5g</a></div><div>Ignore the cammies in an airport rather than the service uniform, it makes me almost cry every time. The military is a trailblazer for cultural and socioeconomic barriers to be brought down. Nothin' more liberal than that! Man, I love the military, I really do.</div>

You weren't thrown off the PS board by any means...this seems to be getting a little bit attention seeker now... You came to that board stating you had bad body image and are not plus sized...my question is this- do you think ps brides have bad body image? what drew you to the board? I just don't see how posts about thigh rubbage are going to relate to you....that doesnt make you can't still stay on that board.

Ok so I just finished reading her original post on PS, and the only person I thought was being "mean" was Amethyst. But I also thought some of her points were kind of valid (especially the bit about AW-ing with pics, possibly looking for validation). Everyone else was defending OP. So I don't understand why she felt she was "kicked out." A bit too sensitive I think. And how she posted pics all over in other posts (including this one), and then doesn't come back to say anything else...seems to be seeking attention and validation. OP, if you weren't intending to AW all over, please do come back and just talk with us! MB is my favorite board because everyone is so welcoming and nice w/o sugar-coating everything. There's blunt honesty here too. I think you just need to stop AW-ing all over, stop complaining about other boards, stop asking if you can be welcome (just intro yourself or just start posting), and accept that people (for the most part) are being honest, not mean and rude. Everyone needs a do-over sometimes. Why don't you start again with the things I've suggested in mind?

Binx, gotta say that was really well said.  Everything you just said I ditto.

Stan, ditto about being burnt out on politics.  I went to college in DC and was just overrun with both sides of the political fence that I just threw up my hands and said, "No more!  I'll vote, but there's no way I'm making a career out of this lunacy!"

Same here. They are flying out right and left.  I know classy right.  Oh and when I am really mad my some what hidden southern accent comes out in full force.  Oh and road rage is the worst for me.  It is a good thing that you can not bump slow cars out of your way.  Ha.  The first time I got all fired up in front of H he said "damn, I don't know guys that have a mouth like that and I am in the Army."  I simply smiled and said "well I am just saying."  He then laughed and walked away shaking his head.

Oh and for the record, I don't think OP is coming back either.  I have not read the other posting she did.  I have not had time yet.  Hum this afternoon seems free.

That's not entirely surprising... some people have entirely too much time on their hands.

I don't get the PS board's reaction, though.  Why don't they just say who it is, rather than all this hinting or whatever?  If they're pretty sure, why not just say it?
