Ok, I feel slightly better. I really hope I can get a new job soon. I am so over working with some people who are lazy, treat everyone else with no respect, and think they are the best thing to ever walk in the room.

Ok, I feel better too!
I'm working on a job that I have to get into the shop and my co-worker won't give me all the info, keeps on changing things, and making me do his job and figure the crap out! I can't stand making fireplaces! Granted, they look awesome when done, but come on, Really. Does Harvard really need 3 fireplaces in a seating area?

AAAAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHH

As hard as I try, I just can't focus anymore, and I have so much work to get done. On top of this, I feel directionless; every time I turn around I feel like I'm being pulled in an entirely different direction as far as life is concerned, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm just not ready to settle down into a career choice. BLEH!

Megan, I hope you find a new and more appreciative job soon!

Kris- that's crazy! What do you normally do, aside from making fireplaces?

I have been sick for 2.5 days. I can't get anything done and stuff keeps piling up which means so does the stress. My counter part at work as done nothing to help which is frustrating.

We are a manufacturing facility that makes cabinets, counters, office furniture, custom millwork, etc.
We do a lot of work with schools, colleges, hospitals, etc, mostly local though (in MA, NH, RI)

We used to do the millwork for Starbucks & Dunkin Donuts.

If you go into a Barnes & Nobles bookstore on any college campus around the USA, we've probably made the store fixtures for them.

@ Kris, that sounds pretty cool, in general. I'm sure I've seen some of your work, I've been in an awful lot of college bookstores in my time

@ Kelsey, do you have the ability to take a mental health day? I know it might not seem like the "best" idea if you need to save up time for the wedding/HM, but I'm a big proponent of them, especially if you have the ability to use a sick day. Too much stress can actually make you sick - it lowers your immune system's ability to fight off germs.

I vote you take a day off, sleep in, watch TV and eat comfort foods

Abbe, it's a definite posibility. My boss actually talked to me the other day about taking a day off and having mom come in and get some wedding stuff done. She could even tell how stressed out I've been.

Fi takes the bar the end of this month and I'm going to see if we can do a mini-getaway one weekend after that so we have some time to do nothing related to wedding planning or anything else.

Thanks for being so supportive!!!

And I've also been meaning to tell you that I LOVE you siggy pics. You look gorg and I love how dark you hair color is!!

GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

This is exactly what I needed to day- a good vent session! haha I've just been so stressed. I just started a new job, and we have tests and presentations all week. School is ridiculous this semester because the professor continues to contradict himself. I have NO time to work on wedding stuff. I ordered a new pair of wedding shoes that came in and are too tall (even though they are the same exact pair of shoes I already own, just in a different color- somehow they are taller though). And, I'm so tired and have no energy for anything lately.

I feel bad for complaining, but I just needed to vent! Thanks ladies.

DO IT!!! I work with struggling students to help them improve their time management, but I frequently tell them to make sure they work in time for themselves, too.

And thanks :) You and your FI look SO sweet together in yours! As for my hair, it's my natural color - I've resolved not to dye it again until after the wedding, haha, but my hair is so dark that dyeing it is really just "lightly tinting" anyway.

AHHHHHGGGGGRRRRRRRRHHHHHH!
I love taching high school some days. We had a faculty meeting until 5 today and I had students think they did not need to take the quiz today because they missed yesterday or Monday but the stuff on the quiz we had been working on for 5 days...

And I recieved an email this morning,mandating I create a Black History Month Lesson plan and submit it by Monday ... I teach Trig and Statistics ... How am I going to do this is three days as well as grade papers and create lessons based on state standards and AP standards and engage the students in creative lessons and create meaningful assignments and ...

Oh yeah, I'm also in charge of Prom with the whinniest group of Juniors I have ever encountered ... Prom is April 20th and my wedding is June 30th ... which one do you think I want to work on more?

Okay ... I'm starting to feel better now ...

GRRRRRRRRRR!

I'm so sick of games and being lied to. I posted a few days ago about discovering that my venue is double-booked the day of my wedding with an art fair. Two days later they tell me that they told the art fair to pick another day, since they have a contract with us for the wedding. I was skeptical that this actually happened, since the art fair's webpage still has the same date posted. So last night I emailed someone in charge of the art fair about it. They said that the venue informed them of the double-booking the same time as us. As far as the guy knew they had not proposed or agreed to changing the date. The art fair is having a board meeting on Saturday to discuss, and will get back to us on Monday about what they're plan is. Super frustrated that our venue would do something like this to us and to an art fair that's be at the same location/time of year for the last 17 years. GRRRRRR!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I really feel like punching something while screaming!

I've been out of full-time work for a year and it's starting to get on my nerves!! I work a part time job but I was so use to full time benefits like insurance. Then Bank of America sent me a letter stating if I didn't pay them a certain amount by Feb 5th they were going to accelerate my payments which will make me owe the full amount on my house and will put me into foreclosure!!! I was only one freaking month behind granted I did owe them but ONE freaking month!!! So I had to stop paying all bills and I made the payments and thank God I avoided foreclose(don't feel like packing). The stress was to the max! Now my payments are current. Now I'm behind on other bills which is stressful but oh well I gotta roof over my head. Thanxs for letting me scream!

Everyone at work is so on edge over the uncertainty that we are taking it out on each other. B is mad at C and M dragged C into a fight with their boss X. L is so stressed he's vibrating and NOT RETURNING MY CALLS. K just wants me to focus on the lab while telling me not to think about the stressful stuff, but that just makes it worse because she's patting me on the head like a child, not accepting that hey, this bothers me too! A just needs to die in a fire.
