Boy is it slow around here.

I stopped by my parents' house today to check to make sure everything was ok (they are away on a cruise) and I decided to be dorky and left this for them.

OMG that is adorable!!

My grandparents are out of the country so I've been keeping an eye on their house. I wish I could mow their lawn for them but their house in on a hill and the yard has a constant slope that makes me nervous on the riding mower....and his yard is known to eat mowers. It's got so many hidden holes and rocks and critters. Scary.

Hey ladies! I'm relaxing with FI, watching a movie. I need to head home in a little bit to do some cleaning. FI's in a pretty good mood because the Fylers won and are going to advance to the next level of the playoffs. I'm glad for him, hockey is his favorite sport.

Exactly. Hockey just really isn't my sport, and football isn't his so all we have in common sportswise is a slight interest in the Phillies. They were losing when we turned that game off... Oh well.

Hello! H and I just got back a few hours ago from our outings at the casinos this weekend.....we didn't do so hot, let's just leave it at that. We had fun though. It's cold and windy outside and I just want to curl up in sweatpants but I think we are getting Noodles & Co for dinner. Perhaps I can convince H to go pick it up since I just had to go to the grocery store on my own.

At least the week ahead isn't looking too bad - I get to cut out early on Wednesday and then take Thursday off, which helps.

onlove, it's a chain restaurant - they have different Asian, Meditteranean, and American noodle dishes. It's really good when you can't decide what you want to eat, because they have so many different types of dishes. http://www.noodles.com/

abbalish - I love going to the Casino near FIs flat. I don't usually gamble, but it's fun to watch him do it. Also they have bogof cocktails and FI doesn't drink : )

I'm exhausted. My houseguest left, and today was/is H's grandmother's birthday, so I went over to St. Petersburg to see her too. H has been sick, so I've been doing everything for the whole household, including all entertaining.

Aleigh couldn't you put all of your wedding docs onto a flash drive? I kept mine backed up on a flash drive the whole time because we would have been screwed if we lost the computer file.

And hi everyone. I just finished some dinner and am watching an SVU marathon and having some blueberry vodka and lemonade. It has been a fabulously lazy Sunday.

I got her a bunch of French macarons from a local bakery. Edible is best.

Of course, she was upset because H was too sick to attend her party, and she felt that he should have rallied for "her special day." Ugh. Yes, because it's a good thing to expose an 89 year old woman and a newborn (our nephew and GMIL's greatgrandchild) to a sick person.
