Hello ladies, I know you can password protect your wedding site/blog or make it invite only BUT I'd like to make it easy for people to find and view. Has anyone had any problems with a public site? Any trolls or privacy problems? Anything you recomment I NOT post to the public site? What do you recommend?
Thanks!

[QUOTE]I guess something happened on one of the national boards where someone pissed someone off and they called and canceled their vendors.

Exactly. This is the same reason we discourage people having their full name in their sig. There have been plenty of incidents on here of people fighting and one person calling another's vendors and/or boss to get them in trouble. There are some creepy people out there and you just want to protect yourself.

[QUOTE]Wow-- I had no idea brides could get so viscious. I wouldn't include your address... it would make it easier for people to mail you gifts or cards, but also advertises the exact days no one will be home.

I think that's more psycho level. In some cases the FI's ex finds the person on the knot and does that too.

[QUOTE]Oh yeah, the parties involved were certifiably insane. People disagree on these boards daily and nothing usually comes of it, but every once in a while some one freaks. That can happen on really any internet community though.

I agree. This is also why we suggest that people don't use email addresses as their SN... because it's not just vicious brides out there, it's your garden variety whack jobs too (because you don't have to be a member to read the boards, just to post on them).
In response to OP, I haven't had any problems with my wedding website. Mine is through Wedding Window.
