Smita's is not at the Burlington Mall.  It is in a small strip mall down Cambridge St.  They do a great job, but the place gets very busy on weekends.  Definitely call ahead and make an appointment!  Even with an appt you often have to wait.

There is a kiosk in the Burlington Mall as well, I think on level 1 near the escalators to the food court.

There is also a kiosk at the Arsenal Mall in Watertown.

Just a quick warning- if you've never had your brows threaded, I would be wary of doing it 2 weeks before your wedding.  I am a veteran waxer but have very senstive skin...my forehead literally looked like the "before" photo in a pro-activ ad.  horrible reaction!  my skin has NEVER looked like that before. many people swear by threading, though, so it's worth a shot.  the shape was perfect and it lasted for so long.  HTH =)

eyebrow threading is an ancient hair removal technique. They use a thread to individually remove each hair folical. The thread is a double cotton strand  thatwraps around a single hair strand. It's really quick, affordable, and last longer than waxing. No worries about sanitation or hot wax.  I have been threading since I was a teen and my family has been doing it for several generations. You can youtube some videos to see how they thread people's facial hair.

I prefer eyebrow threading over waxing. No chemicals or sticky substance peeling off the skin. I've gone to the Burlington Mall kiosk a few times. No problems there.

I got to a super sweet woman's house in Tyngsboro, and she only charges us $3 (but we give her $5 generally). My cousins, aunts and I go every 3 weeks and she is a doll! Let me know if you want her contact info! She has a little salon in her house and loves the extra money!

I live in Beverly and used to go to Anu.  She does a wonderful job and I had less pain with her doing my brows.  Here's her website:

Unfortunately she's a little far away for regular visits, so I've been hitting up the kiosks at LIberty Tree or Northshore Malls.  It's awkward being in the middle of the mall, but more convenient than going to Burlington.
