So I find the whole photography thing to be very stressful.  There's a lot that I want in a package, but I feel like the photographers I like are WAY over budget for what I want to get (I am looking for $5000 for 2 photogs all day (ceremony starts at 2, reception ends at 11, so 8 hours is not enough), an album for us, 2 parent albums, maybe around 800-1000 proofs.  I'd like the proofs in digital format with rights to print but if I could also get a proof book that would be extra nice). 

I was looking at Dean Michaels, but haven't seen pricing on him on the photog website.  Any thoughts?  Or any input on who I can get for about that price?  Thanks!!

    he is extremly expensive.. i would try creative image in west orange they are very reasonably priced

    I used Figtree Productions. When you hire them there is 4 photograpghers.
    Joel and Doris and their 2 daughters. They do amazing work. We loved our pictures.

    We're using Tatiana Breslow and loved her for the epics so far. Her and her 2nd shooter would be in your price range

    im using dean michaels...paying like 5600 i think. 2 photogs...engagement shoot, thank yous, album,  2 parents albums, big pics...a bunch of other little freebies. proofs on high res. disk. (that's all i can remember off the top of my head). let me know if you want more info. but they have another package that is just around 5000...does not include the engagement shoot

    I looked at dean michaels and we were also quoted around $5600 which is 2 photographers, 2 parent albums, our album, hi res disk of images, engagement shots, and a few other minor things. we actually decided to go with milton gil (just about same price) because we loved the sales girl and the main photographer who will be shooting our wedding

    we used Visual Image:
    we got all day from 11am until 11pm, 1 photographer took about 950 pics, we get our album, plus 2 parent albums (same as ours, just a little smaller), an 11x14, 2 8x10s, online proofs plus proofs on a disk (copyrighted), and 144 thank you cards.  I'm going to try to get the rights to the pictures though.  Plus we had a videographer.  Total for everything was $5600.

    I'm using Joseph Lin (jlinphotography.com).  His $5200 package has everything you'd like except the 2nd photographer (but with a second photographer, he throws in a photo booth - if you don't want the booth, he might be willing to move on the price).  He also throws in an engagement shoot (which appears to be extra on the website but is not).  His pictures are amazing!

    i used chris jorda and had a 2nd photographer all day for much less than that... the pictures came out fabulously!  you can always get an album later or DIY.  check him out!

    We are using American Photography in Montville,  his name is Peter. He is great. We got 2 photographers, engagement session, 9 hours, both parent albums, our album, both sets of grandparent pictures, our thank you cards, a canvas pic of us, our proofs, and so much more for  about 3600. I searched high and low, looked at tons of places. I didn't want to break the bank with photography but also wanted to find someone that was good, and hands down to Peter. Our e-pics came out awesome. I would highly recommend giving him a call.

    Try Matthew Douglass Photography.  His packages are reasonable.  We are paying around $3200 for 2 photogs unlimites hours, engagement session, 3 engagement enlargements,and guest sign in book, our album ,3 wedding enlargements.  Parent albums would be abour $1000 more I think.

    Sarah Postma is awesome!


    She starts at 3200  for all day plus 2 photogs maybe 3600
    albums are priced individually but she maybe able to work within your budget!
