Do you know what really grinds my gears?

When people at work use the terms  "get this squared away" & "circle back to me".  It makes me want to kick someone in the teeth.  Anyways rant over.

What really grinds your gears?

  • When I'm getting ready to get off an elevator and the doors open there is someone waiting to get on standing right in front of the door all up in my face. You're supposed to let the people get off before you get on!

I also hate the word "moist". It grosses me out. Weird, I know : )
  • My old boss does this weird breathing/gasping thing through his teeth.  It makes me want to punch him in the face.

Okay, I thought I was the only one. I HATE that word.

It grinds my gears when my co-workers have an attitude for no reason. I'm asking people questions related to their job and they get mad at me. I want to do my job too so stop making it difficult.

  • I made the mistake of telling my co workers that, and now they make it a point to use that word as much as possible just to get a rise out of me. lol.

  • I heard it's really common for women to hate the word "moist".

I hate the phrase "when you know you know." I think people use it as an excuse to make rash, irresponsible decisions.

Also, I can't stand the sound of people chewing! It drives me absolutely insane.

I really don't like that word either! My friends in high school used to say it around me all the time because they knew how much it grossed me out.

What really grinds my gears is when I'm in the movies and I have chatty kathy behind me and they feel the need to comment to their friend beside them about every single part of the movie. It drives me insane!

People and their etiquette at the grocery store drive me bonkers in general.  FI and I avoid it like the plague because of it.  I actually order my groceries from an online delivery service just so I don't have to deal with anyone.

Although, FSIL got us a Costco gift card for the holidays.  It means I might actually have to brave the masses and step foot in the store.  Scary.

    YES!!!!

I worked with a woman who had a deviated septum and never got it fixed and she was constantly snorting/clearing her throat/dry heaving/throat gurgling.  It was so annoying because she could get it fixed but never wanted to.  We knew when she was in the office because the way her cubicle was we could hear her before we saw her.
